WOOYOUNG

As I got home, I came face to face with my mother who was dead drunk. Not again...

"Why are you late?? Don't you see that it's late? Where have you been you piece of shit!" She yelled at me as she tried hard to stand on her feet.

Then she continued. "You got detention again, didn't you?! You're useless. A piece of garbage. You're always getting detention. You being born made my life a living hell!"

I tried to keep my calm but it made the situation worse. Mother got mad and slapped me as hard as she could. I was standing still, being used to this already.

"You're nothing!" She yelled.

I went to my room and locked the door. As I did so I heard glass breaking on the ground. She threw a bottle of glass at my door, making it break.

I slid down on the wall, now sitting on the ground.

This will never end... I thought to myself and sighed.

"You should not exist! No one likes you! Not even your father!" She continued yelling from the hallway.

// "Should I be quiet?
Uh, come on, be silent
Uh, you know I'm tryin'
So don't say nothin'
Uh, tell me you trust me and
Kiss me and hug me, yeah
Well, I would do anything for ya
You just gotta love me" //

YUQI

I was so tired from doing homeworks that I felt like going crazy.

I wanted to go out. But no luck. Haewon wouldn't let me out this late. Or...?

I went downstairs as fast as I could and leaned on the kitchen's counter.

Haewon rolled her eyes at me. "What do you want Yu?"

"Could I go out?" I asked and made a puppy face.

"No." She answered dryly.

"But why?"

"No. It's too late and I don't have enough trust in you to let you go alone."

"What if San goes with me?"

"Still no."

I hissed and pouted. "And if I go with San, Jiyeon and Kyong?"

She sighed. "Fine. But you leave from home with San, you're coming back with San. No arguments."

I cheered and hugged her.

With a little bit of luck and force, I got all of them three out of the house.

"Okay and now what?" Kyong asked as the others shrugged.

"What about a walk on the beach?" I suggested.

They agreed and we went for it.

As we walked on the beach, the cold breeze hit our faces. It was a beautiful starry night.

San and Kyong lit a cigarette and continued walking.

"Didn't you say you're gonna finish with smoking?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow.

San chuckled and shrugged. "It's easier to say than do. Keep that in mind."

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever."
