3RD PERSON

Some hours pass and Yuqi falls asleep with Wooyoung in her arms.

San and Haewon come back home together, and to their surprise, they find the two lovebirds on the couch.

"I'm so curious how Wooyoung ended up in our living room with Yuqi," San whispers as Haewon giggles.

"I'm curious too now. We will find out in the morning. Now let's go to sleep and not wake them up." The girl says, taking the luggage and going upstairs to their rooms.

In the morning, Wooyoung and Yuqi are awakened by the loud noises made by Haewon in the kitchen.

"Wake up lovebirds. You two have school." She yells from the kitchen.

YUQI

I slowly get up and rub my eyes, trying to process what is happening. I look over on the couch and see that Wooyoung is still sleeping. I smile to myself and go quietly to the kitchen.

"Good morning." I greet Haewon as I sit on a chair.

"Good morning, sleepy head. I would ask you how he ended up in our living room, but you will be late to school then." The oldest said, smirking.

I rolled my eyes. "Long story. He won't go to school today. Can you take care of him? I will tell you everything when I come back from school."

Haewon raises an eyebrow but finally agrees. I hugged her and ran to the bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth, and shower before getting ready for school.

A week has passed since everything happened. In the past few days, Wooyoung has been ignoring me and being dry. I don't know what has gotten into him. He should be grateful that I helped him.

It was Monday. Today, surprisingly, I only had 3 classes. PE, arts, and chemistry in the laboratory.

As I was making my way to the art class, Jackson Wang was giving everyone an invitation to a party.

"Next week, on Saturday at 11 pm, there will be a party at my house. I'm waiting for all of you!" he said excitedly as he handed me an invitation as well.

Jackson was the most popular guy. He always threw parties and invited literally everyone.

"Oh, Jackson's party... Are you going?" I hear a voice from behind, making me jump a little.

It was Joon. "O-Oh Joon. You scared the shit out of me."

He laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry. Are you going, though?"

I nodded, making my way to class. "Of course I'm going. I have to go now. See ya later!"

As I say my last words, I can see him in the corner of my eye, waving goodbye and grinning.

This boy is a weirdo...

As classes finally ended, I made my way to my locker and grabbed my things. All of a sudden, someone smashed it close, making me jump.

"What the fuck, Wooyoung? What is wrong with you?" I yelled, seeing that he was clearly mad.

"What is wrong with me? More like what is wrong with you? Queen of gossiping and spreading rumors." He said, throwing a piece of paper at me.

I raise an eyebrow and open the piece of paper, reading what is written inside.

"Jung Wooyoung 0, your mom 1
L bozo, ya mom is a 10/10, you deserve everything"

It was written big with red ink.

I looked back at him as he took a step closer, his breathing heavy.

I felt my heart skip a beat and my legs become weak. He was too close to me.

"Why did you do this to me? Now the whole school knows about my situation with my mom. I trusted you, Yuqi."

I pushed him back a little bit, shaking my head and crossing my arms.

"You really think I did any of that? You're pathetic. I would never do such a thing. Who hurt you in the head, Wooyoung?" I demanded, clearly confused and mad about everything.

He scoffed. "Yeah, of course. I don't believe you anymore. You were the only one who knew. And yet you decided to make my life trash."

"Wait-" I tried to stop him, but he left.

Wooyoung...

I sighed and took another look at the piece of paper.

This isn't even my handwriting...

I threw it in the trash can and gathered my things, leaving the school.

"Are you okay, sis? You haven't touched your food at all." Haewon softly spoke as she washed the dishes.

I nodded, still playing with my food.

She stopped what she was doing and came to me.

"Yuqi. Something is bothering you. What happened?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Wooyoung... He has some problems with his mom, and I was the only one who knew about them. But now the whole school knows. And he thinks that I told everyone and quite hates me now," I mumbled as I groaned and leaned back on the chair.

"Haewon. Why won't he trust me when I say that I haven't done anything? I would never want to destroy his life like that. Yet he doesn't believe me anymore." I continue as I sigh.

Haewon sat next to me and took my hand in hers, gently caressing it.

"Look Yuqi. Nobody said that you did it or that it was your fault. You have to understand him too, though. Imagine if you didn't want anyone to know that your parents were dead and someone spread a rumor about it, and you thought that the only person who knew about it told everyone. That's how he feels. Even if you haven't done it, someone still did it, that's obvious. Try not to think about it. Give him some time."

I nod, and she drags me into a hug, caressing my back.

"I will go on a little walk on the beach," I say as I break the hug. Haewon rolls her eyes, and it makes me giggle, feeling a little better already.

She smiles warmly. "Just be careful and don't stay out too late. And maybe you find San because I don't know where he disappeared again," she says as she returns to the kitchen. I nod and grab my jacket, heading out the door.

The beach is peaceful, with the waves gently crashing against the shore. I walk along the water's edge, lost in thought. The cool breeze helps clear my mind, and I start to feel a bit more at ease.

As I walk, I notice someone sitting on a large rock, staring out at the ocean. It's San. He turns his head as I approach and gives me a small wave.

"Hey, sis. What brings you out here? Did Haewon ask you to search for me again?" he asks, giggling.

I chuckled and shook my head, sitting down next to him. "That too, but I just needed to clear my head. It's been a rough day."

San nods, understanding. "Yeah, I heard about what happened with Wooyoung. I'm really sorry. That must be tough."

I sigh, looking down at the sand. "It's just... I don't know who would do something like this. I thought I was helping him, and now he hates me."

San places a comforting hand on my shoulder. "He's going through a lot. He'll come around eventually. He just needs time."

"I hope so," I reply, feeling a bit better with San's reassurance.

After some time, he stands up and stretches. "Let's go back home. I promise you everything will be alright."

I nod, remembering that some days ago I said the same words to someone else.
