26- Distance

AUTHOR POV:-

Things have been going well with Raj and Suhaana.. that incident United them as one..it made them get closer than ever.. everything was going well..

Raj and suhaana complete each other..they are each other's safe place..but nothing good really lasted forever in Suhaana's life..

Ever since that day Raj and Suhaana had been expressive towards each other..everyone in the family was happy for them and was glad to see their children smiling.

Suhaana's family didn't contact her again after the last incident..they knew better than to mess with Raj.

But..But..but.. since a few days things have been off.. It was like there was a silent distance between Raj and suhaana.. that was killing her one the inside..

Raj hasn't been responding to her 'I love you ', he has been cold and off lately.. Suhaana tried not to overthink it and she asked Raj but all he told was that he was okay and she was just thinking too much..

The feeling that your partner is drifting away.. hiding things..the feeling that you are going to loose your favourite person.. Raj was the reason of suhaana giving life another chance..but now.. he is the same person who is making suhaana doubt herself..

She tried to talk to him many times only to either see him get irritated or giving cold replies...

The feeling that shayad cheezein badal jayegi..hurts the most.. seeing your favourite person drift away and hiding things from us hurts.

It makes us doubt ourselves more than ever..just because someone says that they understand doesn't ever mean that it doesn't hurt them..

Suhaana has been doing everything to make Raj happy but none of it worked..the feeling that her care is annoying and irritating him kept coming back to her..

Overcaring..jab hum kisi se itna pyaar kar lete hai that our whole life revolves around that person..we care about them to the moon and back as we can't see them hurt.. it looks good in listening but when the person in front of us starts finding it annoying..that hurts..

The sudden change in his behaviour has been hurting her more than ever... The feeling that he is like everyone else is coming back to her again and again.

Suhaana couldn't take it anymore and went to his office to talk to him.

SUHAANA SINGHANIA POV:-

Am I the problem..am I caring too much for him..am I annoying him.. Why is he suddenly changing..

The cold replies..are killing me..he barely even comes home ab.. he comes late and leaves early..

He refuses to tell me anything...my heart is aching..kya ho gaya hai Raj..

We decided that we won't hide anything and we will get through things together Raj..you said that you won't lie to me then why..

"Mam we have reached"
  my driver's voice brought me out of my trail of thoughts.

I nodded and got off. I went inside his office. Everyone greeted me and nodded.

I knocked on his cabin and he said

"Come in "

I took a deep breath and entered the cabin he looked up at me. I thought he would be atleast a bit happy to see me but all my hopes crashed when he just gave me a normal glance and went back to work.

"Mr. Raghuvanshi I bought lunch for you" I said with a smile on my face.
