You grew up in Canada and moved to La to s...
On your one-year anniversary with Woodland, he woke up early setting up flowers and plane tickets to Florida and New York. You then woke up soon after "What are you doing?" you asked. "Waiting for you, beautiful," he replied with a smile. Grinning, you got up, had a shower, and dressed in a white shirt and dark blue jeans.

As you emerged from the bathroom, Woods stood there with a cup of coffee, a warm smile adorning his face. "Okay, what's up?" you asked, intrigued by his presence. "You'll see," he replied mysteriously, taking your hand and leading you to the living room. There, arranged before you, were the gifts. "You didn't have to, Woods," you expressed, feeling touched by his thoughtfulness as you examined the plane tickets laid out on the table. "I've always wanted to go to these places," you confessed, genuinely surprised and grateful for the gesture. "I know," he said softly, his smile widening as he pulled you close by the waist, his lips meeting yours in a tender kiss. "Happy one-year anniversary," he murmured against your lips, his eyes filled with affection. Returning the kiss, you reached into your pocket and retrieved another plane ticket, a playful glint in your eye. "Looks like we're going to three places," you revealed, handing him the ticket with a teasing grin. "Tokyo, I love it. Thanks," he exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with excitement as he kissed you once more, his gratitude evident in his touch. As you embraced, the significance of the moment washed over you, the love and companionship shared between you palpable in the air. Each gesture, each word exchanged, spoke volumes of the bond you shared, deepening the connection between you. With hearts full of love and anticipation for the adventures ahead, you knew that this anniversary marked not only a year of cherished memories but also the promise of countless more to come. And as you held each other close, you felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the love that had brought you together and the journey that lay ahead. "Did you tell Matt about our trips because I mentioned Tokyo to him?" you inquired as you both began to pack for your journey. "Yes, I did. Don't worry," Woods reassured you. After bidding farewell to Emily, Sam, and Cat, you headed to the airport. Passing through security, you placed all your belongings in the bins for scanning, relieved when nothing beeped as you walked through the metal detector. Seated at the gate, you enjoyed a snack while waiting for your flight to be called. Twenty minutes later, it was time to board, and you and Woods made your way onto the plane. "First class, Woods? I'll have to pay you back," you remarked. "Don't worry about it. Consider it a gift," he replied with a smile. Settling into your seats, you engaged in conversation, sharing pictures from your Pinterest boards. As the flight attendant announced the need to switch phones to airplane mode and went over safety procedures, you both eagerly anticipated the adventures awaiting you in New York.
As the plane took off, Woods gently held your hand, sensing your lingering fear of flying. Meeting his gaze, you took a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves as the aircraft ascended into the sky. Gradually, you felt yourself relaxing. Engrossed in conversation and laughter, you momentarily forgot about your anxieties. However, your chatter halted abruptly as you noticed a couple making their way towards the airplane bathroom. Exchanging disgusted glances, you and Woods couldn't fathom their intentions. "Why would anyone want to do that?" you exclaimed in disbelief, shaking your head. "I don't know. That's what the bedroom is for," Woods replied, equally perplexed. Feeling a mix of shock and amusement, you covered your face in embarrassment. "Oh my god, Woodland," you muttered, unable to contain your laughter as Woods joined in. After the plane landed, you proceeded to the hotel check-in desk where you received your room key. Making your way to the fourth floor, you unlocked the door while Woods carried the bags. Upon entering, we both admired the room's decor. "Whoa, I love this," you exclaimed with excitement. "Me too," Woods agreed, sharing in your enthusiasm. Eager to start exploring, you asked, "What are we going to do first?" Woods chuckled, "Well, let's chill for now. It's late, and we just got off the plane. Tomorrow morning, I'll take you to get breakfast, and then we'll head to the top of the Statue of Liberty." You nodded in agreement, feeling content with his plan. After taking a shower and changing into pajamas, you crawled into bed with Woods beside you. You guys cuddled up, ready to rest and recharge for the adventures that awaited you guys in the morning. You woke up, brimming with excitement, and playfully shook Woods to wake him up. "I'm up, I'm up," he chuckled, planting a kiss on your lips. You got out of bed and stretched, feeling refreshed. Woods admired you with a soft smile, saying, "Why are you always so goddamn beautiful?" You couldn't help but smile and chuckle at his compliment. "And why are you looking at me?" you teased as you walked towards the bathroom to change into a blue dress.
