You woke up in the morning feeling the temptation to sleep in, but duty called, so you dragged yourself out of bed and headed for the shower. After getting changed, you made your way to the kitchen and began preparing breakfast. As you were cooking, you heard a knock on the door. Curious, you went to answer it, and to your surprise, Woods walked in, ready to drive you to work. "Hey, Woods," you greeted him with a smile. "Hey, Y/N," he replied, planting a kiss on your lips before following you into the kitchen. Just as you were about to finish cooking the pancakes, Emily emerged from the bathroom, looking nervous. Concerned, you turned to her, placing the pancakes on a plate. "Emily, what's wrong?" Taking a deep breath, Emily hesitated for a moment before blurting out, "I'm pregnant." You and Woods stood there in shock, the news taking a moment to sink in. "Oh my god," Woods exclaimed, his voice filled with astonishment. Moving closer to Emily, you wrapped her in a comforting hug. "It's okay, congratulations," you said, offering her your support in this unexpected moment. "Does Miles know?" you asked gently, watching as Emily wiped the tears from her eyes. "No, not yet. I just found out," Emily replied, her voice trembling with emotion.B"It's okay. You'll be a great mom," you reassured her, offering words of encouragement.VEmily decided to call Miles to come over so she could share the news with him. As she waited anxiously, Woods walked over to offer his support. "You will be a good mom, don't worry," he said, giving Emily a reassuring smile. Emily smiled back, her eyes filled with gratitude as she placed a hand on her belly. Just then, Miles walked in, puzzled by Emily's tears. "What's up? Why are you crying?" he asked, concern etched on his face. Breaking the news, Emily revealed, "I'm having a baby. We're having a baby." Miles' face lit up with joy and disbelief, tears welling up in his eyes as he pulled Emily into a tight hug. "I'm going to be a father," he exclaimed, his voice choked with emotion. Witnessing the touching moment, Woods turned to you with a soft smile. "That's us one day," he whispered, his eyes reflecting a shared dream of parenthood. Realizing it was time to head to work, you gently interrupted the tender scene. "Okay, we're heading to work now," you announced, prompting Woods to chuckle as you both made your way out the door.
Heading to work, you greeted CJ, who was busy filming. "What happened now?" you asked him. CJ sighed. "Matt saw the car moving," he revealed. "What!?" Woods exclaimed in disbelief. Together, you made your way to Matt's office, with CJ trailing behind. Knocking on the door, you heard Matt's voice inviting you in. As you entered, you saw Sam already seated, looking equally concerned. "CJ told us already. Show us," Matt instructed, his tone urgent. Matt proceeded to explain the situation further, showing you footage from the Nest camera. The video was slow at first, but then something unexpected happened. As the car suddenly moved, appearing to do so of its own accord, a chill ran down your spine, and you found yourself instinctively covering your mouth in shock. "I can't believe that's happening," Tanner exclaimed as he walked into the room. "Hey, sorry guys, but we need Y/N for editing," he continued, addressing the group. "That's fine," Matt responded. "I'll text you everything," Woods added as you made your way out of the door. Tanner directed you to edit some REKT videos and Dope or Nope videos. Heading into your office, you got to work on the editing tasks assigned to you. As you were focused on your work, your phone buzzed with a notification. Picking it up, you saw that it was a text from Emily. Emily: Hey Y/N, Miles is moving into the apartment. Y/N: That's great news! Don't worry, I'll start looking at houses. I know you want to turn my room into a nursery, and besides, I was planning on moving out anyways. Emily: Thank you. Y/N: No problem. You put your phone down after replying, finishing up the editing task at hand.
As you finished up, you realized it was already 5:30, 30 minutes past the end of your shift. Locking your office, you headed out and spotted Woods waiting for you in his car. You hopped in, and he started driving towards your apartment. "I have to find a house," you mentioned, thinking about Emily's situation. "How about you move in with me? I have a big enough apartment," Woods suggested. "Really?" you asked, surprised by his offer. "Yeah, and if we ever have a kid, I have an extra room," he explained. "Thank you," you replied, feeling touched by his gesture of generosity. As you arrived at Emily's apartment, the reality of your impending move began to sink in. With only one night left in this familiar space, you couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia mixed with excitement for the new chapter ahead.
Woods decided to stay the night, offering his support and companionship during this transitional period. After settling in, he disappeared into the bathroom for a quick shower while you took the opportunity to unwind with a book. The soft glow of the lamp cast a comforting warmth over the room as you lost yourself in the pages, temporarily escaping into the world of fiction. Once Woods emerged from the bathroom, refreshed and ready for the evening, you set aside your book and turned your attention to the task at hand. With your belongings scattered around the apartment, the reality of packing up your life hit you like a wave. But with Woods by your side, the daunting task seemed a little more manageable. Despite the chaos of packing, you and Woods found moments of respite in each other's company. With your shared passion for music, you grabbed your guitar, and Woods joined you with his keyboard. Together, you started to compose a song, the melodies flowing effortlessly between you as you harmonized and experimented with different chord progressions. The room filled with the soothing sounds of music, creating a sense of peace and unity amidst the chaos of packing. With each chord and lyric, you poured your emotions into the song, channeling the excitement of new beginnings and the bittersweet nostalgia of leaving behind the familiar. Hours passed as you immersed yourselves in the creative process, losing track of time as you worked tirelessly to bring your vision to life. Despite the late hour, neither of you seemed to mind, fueled by a shared passion and a sense of purpose. Eventually, the song began to take shape, the final notes fading into the quiet of the night. With a sense of accomplishment, you both sat back, listening to the melody echoing through the room. In that moment, the remnants of your life in this apartment, you felt a profound sense of connection and gratitude for the journey that had brought you here. As the night drew to a close, you and Woods exchanged tired smiles, the exhaustion of the day catching up with you both. With a silent understanding, you decided to call it a night, knowing that tomorrow would bring new challenges and opportunities. As you settled into bed, the soft rhythm of your breathing and the gentle rustle of sheets filled the room, a comforting reminder of the bond you shared. With Woods by your side, you drifted off to sleep, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over you, knowing that no matter what the future held, you would face it together.
