Mora was walking down the street on the way to meet up with her close friends at the basketball court she got closer and rolled her eyes seeing her ex dd was with them she didn't mind it too much because she knew they were still best friends she put her beats on and walked up to her friends hugging them
"Where you been at" dudey said hugging her
"Osrs I been in the crib chillin" mora said

"Where ddot at" mora asked
They pointed towards the basketball court she put her bookbag down before dd could walk up to her going over to the basketball court to hoop with ddot
"Check up fn" she said walking over to ddot
"Ohh look at who decided to pop out" he said passing her the ball
"Yk gotta make me appearances every once and a while so evb knows im alive" she said laughing
"Come on let's make a bet" ddot smirked

"If you win 50 dollars rn if I win you gotta talk to dd" ddot said

They started hooping the score was close ddot needed three points she needed two the were both tired ddot shot and three winning the whole game

He still slid her a 50 cause of how close the game was she stuck it in her pocket and walked up to dd who was rolling a blunt
"Hey" she said speaking breaking the silence
"Yo" he said not looking at her lighting the blunt
She stuck her fingers out trying to get him to pass it he looked up at her and passed it she sat on the park table and took a hit
"Why you comin over here talking to me now?" He asked
"You want the truth or a lie" mora asked
"The truth" he said
"I lost a bet to ddot and I decided maybe I could give our friendship another chance" she said passing the blunt back
"Damn if that was the truth what was the lie" he asked
"I wanted to get back together" she shrugged
"Damn mora you just don't give a fuck do you" he said slightly laughing passing it
"Nah not really " She said taking a puff
"We cool" he asked with his hand out
She nodded dapping him up they kept talking for a little while longer and she realized she may have missed him a little more than she thought
"I'm finna go home you wanna walk with me?" She asked
"Yea imma stop by and say hey to ya moms" dd said
"She been asking bout you" mora laughed
They walked to her house and kept talking did may have been an ex for a reason but that conversation that she's been avoiding has maybe made her realize her changed for the better and was more mature she was happy to have him back
