Kiana was new to the school she woke up late so her mom has to drive her to her first day of school she wasn't like most of the other kids in her grade she had tattoos and piercings specifically
A smiley, a septum, a nose piercing and she had an industrial with both of her ears pierced for her tattoos she had a rose on her arm and she had the word divine tattooed behind her ear in red
She walked into her first class and everyone turned their heads she was embarrassed but she didn't show it her teacher waved her over to come towards her and she did
"Okay hi you must be Kiana" the teacher smiled
Kiana nodded staying quiet
"Okay well can sit right there" she said pointing at a chair next to this boy with curly hair
Kiana went and took her seat next to the boy listening to the teacher she told the students to do independent work and she walked over to Kiana
"Okay Kiana we have a test tomorrow but you'll take it but it won't be a major grade I just wanna see what you know" the teacher said
Kiana nodded and the teacher walked away Kiana put her beats on and started drawing on her notebook before she felt someone tap on her shoulder she pulled them down looking over at the boy with curly hair
"I'm dd what's yo name" he said grinning
"Kiana" she said bluntly
"You just move here?" He asked
"No I've lived here for a while I just never came to this school" she responded
"Oh damn" dd said
"Mhm" Kiana responded
"What you drawing?" He asked
"Just random stuff that pops up in my head" she shrugged
"Ts ts ts that's wsp"dd said
"Mhm" Kiana said
"So you got anybody to sit with at lunch?" Dd asked
"Nah just got here" Kiana said awkwardly
"Right right my bad"dd laughed
"Your good" Kiana said
"You tryna sit with me n my hbs?"dd asked
Kiana nodded and her and dd conversed a little more until he paused and asked about her tattoo
"I see you got a tattoo by your ear it say divine what made you get that?" Dd asked
"My name means divine" Kiana responded
"That's wsp you got anymore tattoos ?" He asked
"I just have a rose on my arm" she said rolling up her hoodie sleeve showing him
"Ts tuff" dd said
Kiana noticed that dd would get on his phone every once in a while and text someone she didn't pay much mind to it because she didn't know him like that he didn't have to put his phone down for them to have a conversation
A little bit later class ended and Kiana followed dd they met up with two other boys and one of them spoke
"So this the fine girl with the tattoos you was talking about dd?" The boy that looked kinda like dd said
The other boy and dd both looked at him and he made a 'o' motion with his lips Kiana couldn't help but laugh they all looked at her and she tried to stop laughing
"Anyways I'm notti" the boy said putting his hand out
"Kiana" she said taking his hand
"Ddot" the other boy said to her
She nodded and looked around the atmosphere was awkward now to her everything made her feel out of place there
Dd put his arm around her yapping about stuff about the school while they walked to the cafeteria he told her everything she needed to know and about all the spots the hall monitors didn't go she really liked that she met someone like dd on her first day his aura felt welcoming
