Saniyah was in her room doing tiktoks when she heard someone knock on the door her mom texted her to get the door causing her to groan and grab her phone walking to the door
"Can I help you?" She said opening the door to reveal two boys
There was three boys two lightskin ones and a brown skin she thought the brown skin was fine but they started speaking snapping her out of her trance
"We selling candy bars you want some?" The brown skin boy asked
"Uh sure what yall got?" She asked
They showed her the box of candy bars and she looked over them
"Yall mind if I take a picture to show my mom she workin" she asked the boys
"Nah we don't mind" one of the lightskins said
She took a picture of the candy box and waited for her mom to answer the text until her phone dinged with a message from her mom
"Alright lemme get two Hershey's and a snickers" she said
"Alright that's 3 dollars" the brown skin boy said
"2 dollars and yo Instagram will do" the lightskin boy said smirking
She gave him a weird look and looked back at the brown skin
"Yall take cash or cashapp?" She asked
"It's up to you yo Instagram would be nice tho " the brown skin boy said smiling
"Alright hold up I'll be right back" she said closing the door
She ran to her room grabbing a piece of paper writing her Instagram and grabbing her wallet running back to the door she opened it again handing the brown skin boy the folded up paper and grabbed 3 dollars out her wallet handing it to the brown skin boy he lowered the box so she could grab her candy and she grabbed it
"Thank you" she said smiling
"No problem" the boy responded
"We'll follow you later" one of the lightskins said
"Dd leave that girl alone she clearly ain interested" the other lightskin boy said
"I'll text you later" the brown skin boy smiled
"Alr that's cool bye" she said smiling back closing the door
She put her moms snicker in the freezer and went back to her room with her Hershey bars she started doing her tiktoks again then she started watching Netflix till her phone went off she flipped it over looking at the screen

She smiled at the notification answering it immediately they texted for hours before he said he'd text her tmrw she smiled at the message and turned her phone off getting excited her mom opened the door and she turned towards the door
"I just got off but why you text me a picture of candy bars" her mom asked
"These boys came to the door selling candy bars so I asked if you wanted one" she said
"Ohh alright but I'm finna go to sleep don't stay up to late remember you got a dentist appointment tomorrow" her mom said
"Okay mom goodnight"she said
"Goodnight niyah love you" her mom said
"Love you too mom" she said
Her mom walked out and she turned over smiling thinking about the boy she eventually drifted to sleep
