Jela was sitting in her room listening to music when are we still friends came on and she started thinking about edot they recently started drifting and getting into it almost every other day and they friendship really took a toll they haven't spoke in days and she wanted to text him but didn't wanna annoy him but the more the song played the more she thought about him she picked her phone up to text him but hesitated 'why am I be so scary' she thought it was her Bestfriend or so she thought he still was
She eventually worked up the confidence to text him and she put her phone down she waited for him to text back for hours and her phone finally went off and he screen flashed with a text from him

She felt relieved that the bond was still there between her and edot but she still felt as something was off but she didn't wanna push any further she decided to pause her music and turn over and go to sleep to not stress over to situation more than she needed to she woke up the next day from a text from edot asking her to come over so they could talk she got up brushing her teeth and hoping in the shower once she got up she pulled her hair into a puff and she threw on sweatpants and a white tank top grabbing her slides and leaving she stopped by the bodega and got something to eat she got a bag of chips and a Gatorade with some candy
She paid for her stuff and left continuing to walk to edots house she kept walking she left kind of early so it was kinda quiet and peaceful outside she enjoyed quiet she eventually got to his building and went inside knocking on his door after a few seconds he came to the door letting her in
"Hey jela" he said closing the door behind her
"Hey dot" she said standing next to her
He led her to his room and she sat on the chair he had sitting there and he sat across from her on the bed
"Look I just wanted to apologize for being weird" he said
"It's fine" she responded
"It's not fine I ghosted you and treated you bad because of my personal problems" he said continuing
"It's okay I'm not mad" she said
"We still besties?" He asked with his pinky out
She pretended like she had to think causing him to suck his teeth she giggled and connected their pinkies
"Besties" she said smiling
He smiled and began to yap jela's ear off she was happy to still have her Bestfriend he was the main one who was there for her she didn't know what she'd do if she lost him
