he leads the hobbits to a sturdy wooden gate sections a town stone wall and knocks on a door.

a crooked nosed man opens a looking hatch glances around then opens a lower one.

Man:"what do you want?"

Frodo:"we're heading for the prancing pony"

the watchman opens a door and walks out with a lantern

Man:"Hobbits Four Hobbits what business brings you to Bree?"

Frodo:"we wish to stay at the inn Our business is our own"

Man:"alright, young sir I meant no offense it's my job to ask questions after night fall"

the hobbits enter

Man:"there's talk of strange fold abroad can't be too careful"

he shuts the door behind them and the hobbits walk down a glistening Mud road past fences which secure livestock

in town they step aside as a horse drawn carriage nearly crushes them

Frodo spots a hanging sign featuring a rearing horse and the words The Prancing Pony.

he and the Hobbits enter, pull down soaked hoods and shake out matted hair

Pippin gives Merry an excited look
and his friend flares his brow.

Frodo approaches the desk which is taller than him

Frodo:"excuse me"

The Inn Keeper approaches the desk looks around then looks down.

Inn Keeper:"good evening,little masters if you're seeking accommodation we got some nice cozy Hobbit-Sized rooms available Mister, uh..."

Frodo:"Underhill my name is Underhill"

Man:"Underhill, Yeah"

Frodo:"we're friends of Gandalf the gray can you tell him we've arrived"

Inn Keeper:"Gandalf? Gandalf.... oh yes I remember Elderly chap
big gray beard pointy hat"
