Rain is shuffling from clouds above
through layers of wind it cuts seamlessly like a hot knife through butter
Into the snow it plummets
Leaving a pea shaped hole at the top of the fresh snow
Over and over these rain droplets take over the fresh snow making it less than a memory worth remembering
Snow falls asking for no harm from the ground
