Disconnected// Daniel Skye fanfic

Part 2

Dakota POV:

After I finally got over myself, it hit me. Daniel liked my picture... so what? He likes A TON of pictures everyday! Plus it was an edit on a random fan account! He doesn't know me or who I am! I tried to turn on my phone... but it wouldn't work. The screen was turning all fuzzy. Then all of a sudden my lights all went out. I thought it was just that the power went out from the storm... but why wasn't my phone working? Am I in some horror movie or something? I tried turning on my laptop and TV but that wouldn't work either. I tried calling my parents... wouldn't work. I sat in my bed and started to cry. To be honest with you I am terrified. of EVERYTHING! So I just waited there for my parents to get home.

I heard a knock on my door. Is it my parents? I went downstairs. It was my neighbor. "Dakota Sweetie! Can I come in?" she asked. "Umm could this get any weirder?" I said. "WHAT?" She screamed as if she was deaf. "Sure whatever... just come in" I let her in and she was soaking wet. Ew. "Is your internet working?" she asked me. "No! it's not! is it for you?" I asked. "Nope" She said. "Something really bad must have happened." She said scaring me. I don't even know this ladies name... and here she is standing in my house. If my parents see that I let a stranger in my house, they will KILL ME!! "Um.... yeah... so you better leave now... K BYE!! I said pushing her out the door. Wow. Something really weird is going on. What about Daniel?! Wait what do I do? What if this never fixes?! What if I am forever disconnected?!
