Chapter 31

(Flashback)

During one night, Reisa becomes aware of someone's absence and inquires, "So, Alice, where's Ash?"

Golly scans the living room, her brow furrowing as she comments, "Now that you mention it, I haven't seen him either. Alice, as his girlfriend, do you have any idea what he might be up to?"

Alice appears perplexed, responding, "I'm sorry, but this time he didn't share any details with me. I'm starting to wonder if he's keeping something from me..."

Flora offers reassurance, her gaze drifting out the window as she says, "Don't worry, Alice. Given his character, he's not likely to hide things from you intentionally. He's probably just occupied with something outside."

Suddenly, the sound of music reaches their ears from outside the castle. Puzzled by its origin, the four girls exchange curious glances and decide to investigate the source of the music. To their astonishment, they discover Ash, who has adopted Jude's disguise, holding a microphone. Beside him stands Pikachu, positioned next to a speaker connected to a smartphone, while Ludicolo takes center stage, with a camera mounted on top of its head. Milotic sits gracefully on the ground, observing the scene with intrigue.

Alice voices her confusion, "What is he doing, exactly?"

Reisa speculates, "I believe he's attempting to film a music video..."

As the music begins, Ash takes a deep breath and then starts to sing.

"I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid

On a magic carpet ride."

Flora expresses her admiration, commenting, "Ash has such a soothing voice..."

Golly adds, "His singing is truly beautiful; he definitely has a talent for it..."

Alice, however, remains silent, well aware of the song playing and her role in it. It's a duet, and she should be singing alongside him. She decides to transform into her Aoi form and approaches Ash, holding a microphone in her hand.

"A whole new world" Ash is taken aback by the unexpected turn of events, as he had planned to surprise Alice with this music video. As she approaches, singing the female parts of the song in her Water-type disguise, he can't help but smile at the delightful surprise.
