After Ash and Alice wrap up their filming session, they head back to the gym, where they witness Bonnie's hard-fought victory against Elline. The tension eases as the two trainers shake hands, showing mutual respect for their intense battle. Ash, curious about the outcome, inquires, "How did the battle go?"
Diantha, radiant with satisfaction, replies, "It was flawless. And how about your movie shoot?"
"Absolutely fantastic," Alice chimes in. "Although it feels like someone is missing."
The realization dawns on the Champions and the Chosen trainers that the traitorous individuals have vanished. Launching into action, they scour the gym, eventually stumbling upon the culprits slumbering in the comfort of the resting room seats. Upon being roused from their slumber, the traitors exhibit bafflement, unable to recall their presence in the room.
"Didn't I warn you not to wander off alone? At least you're unharmed," Ash laments, a hint of relief in his voice. "Now, before our departure, perhaps we should take a brief exploration around the vicinity."
Agreeing with Ash's suggestion, the group disperses to explore. However, to Ash and Alice's dismay, they find Serena now accompanying them. With a hopeful smile, Serena asks, "Mind if I tag along?"
Caught off guard but unwilling to refuse, Ash exchanges a glance with Alice before responding, "Of course, you're welcome to join us."
Serena's smug expression irks Alice, a rare occurrence that unsettles her. As Serena queries, "So, where are we headed?" Alice notices the subtle undertone of challenge in Serena's voice.
"We're planning to visit the 'Ash Ketchum' exhibit," Ash replies, causing Serena to flinch slightly at the mention of his name. "Wait, Ash Ketchum has an exhibit? But isn't he considered a criminal?" Serena questions, her curiosity piqued.
Alice steps in, her tone firm yet reflective. "Just because he's labeled as a criminal now, does that mean we should overlook and dismiss all the good he's done in the past?"
Serena quickly clarifies, "No, of course not. I mean, before the incident with his mother, he was genuinely kind and admirable. He always went out of his way to help anyone in need."
Upon reaching the exhibit, Serena is taken aback by the array of displays, while the others observe with a mix of emotions. Spotting the replica Z Crystal, Bonnie voices her curiosity, "What's this?"
Ash steps forward, a sense of reverence in his voice. "This is a replica of the Pikashium-Z, a Z Crystal specially created by Tapu Koko for Ash Ketchum."
When Cynthia's gaze falls upon a poster, curiosity sparks within her, prompting her to inquire, "Wait a moment, Red, are you the one portraying Ash Ketchum in this film?"
With a nod, Ash affirms, "Yes, although embodying the role of a once-respected trainer turned criminal isn't without its challenges. Initially, when the director approached me for this project, I had reservations about how the audience would perceive the movie's content... I mean, there's a stark divide in opinions globally, with some viewing Ash as a criminal and others staunchly believing in his innocence. However, one undeniable fact is that residents native to this region, as well as those who have migrated from other regions, stand firmly in support of Ash Ketchum. That's why it's deemed safe to screen this film here rather than overseas."
Lance muses, "Indeed, it's astounding to think about the legendary and mythical Pokemon Ash Ketchum has encountered throughout his lifetime."
As the group explores further, Lillie's attention is drawn to a computer terminal displaying a comprehensive Pokedex containing data on all 1025 known Pokemon. Her gasp of amazement draws everyone's eyes as she exclaims, "Look at this... the complete data for all 1025 Pokemon is right here on this computer!"
