Chapter - 4

Recap: Myra feels possessive with Roshni around Krish.

Myra at the of 16:

Myra was not a little girl anymore yet she was finding it difficult to name whatever she was feeling towards Krish. She loved every bit of his care and love, though she felt confused between his words and actions. Even her other best friend Naina was unable to help Myra to conclude what was happening with her little heart. Still with confused feelings, she liked when he kissed her and felt shy when he hugged even if it was a casual one. It was her 16th birthday and she was waiting to open her gifts especially the one from Krish.

Over the years she was used to receive surprise gifts placed altogether in the hall when she woke up. Like every other years as soon as she was up she rushed to the hall where all the gifts were placed and she picked the one with name " K " and opened it immediately. It was a beautiful  watch, the one she wanted and she loved it. The door opened at the same time and Krish entered holding a rose in his hand. He hugged her and kissed her cheek.

Krish: Happy birthday My dear Myra.

Myra: I love the gift, Krish. Thank you so much. You are the best.

Myra blushed and thanked him returning the hug. Krish gave the rose to her and left from there. Myra opened rest of the gifts and rushed to her room and called Naina immediately who answered in the first ring.

Myra: Guess what happened today ?

Naina: First of all happy birthday my dear friend. If I should guess then Krish must have wished you, hugged you and kissed you. What did he gift you this year ?

Myra: A watch. But I don't know why he doesn't give to me directly. I m really confused Naina. He says I m his best friend but his actions speak otherwise. Am I in love with him Naina ?

Naina: Well may be and he could be too.

Myra: Naina, everytime I m need of something he gets that for me, he always come as a saviour when I m in trouble, he leaves chocolates, the flowers, surprise gifts and what not ?

Naina: We also knew that he hit those boys who teased you on way to school.

Myra: Yep, ofcourse. Why would he hit someone if he doesn't love me ? I think I m falling for his love and care for me. I wish I get all this love forever in my life.

Naina: All the best if you are falling for him. Even if you are not, he is your best friend and final result is he gave you a gift and thats all matters. Now what is your plan for today ?

Myra: How about going to our regular spot ?

Naina: Girl, watch your eating. Krish is thinner than you. Also last time when Roshni was here you envied her for being so slim and having a perfect figure. 

Myra: Today is cheat day and from tomorrow I will start dieting. I will meet you at the parlour. Time to meet my parents, aunt and uncle.

Naina: Will you meet that handsome hunk ?

Myra: I don't know if ketchup will be at home. And girl, he is 26, ten years older than us so watch whom you are crushing over. 

Naina: I won't crush on someone who is out of my league, its just I feel no harm in praising someone who is extra hot and handsome. I m happy with my cricketer crush. Now get ready and lets meet. Bye.

Myra got ready in the new dress her mother got her for birthday and reached the hall. Vasundra and Rajan hugged her wishing her for her birthday. She fed sweets and snatching the sweet box she ran to Archana's home.
