Chapter - 27

Recap: Keshav and Myra's wedding reception and their bonding.

A week passed by and Keshav and Myra were getting along well with each other. His casual flirting and her teasing made them feel very comfortable with each other. Keshav had kept their travel a suspense and Myra gave up knowing he would not budge to any of her tactics.

Myra was yet to resume with her work and Keshav worked from home. They had gone out for lunch, dinner and more shopping.

Keshav heard someone sobbing and woke up in a jerk. He was shocked to see Myra crying and wiped her tears immediately.

Keshav: What happened little one ? why are you crying ? Do you have any pain ? Should I take you to the doctor ?

Myra: Shut up, I m fine but I m not fine.

Keshav: what does that mean ?

Myra: I m missing my mother and my rose plants.

Keshav sighed in relief and passed a glass of water to her but she refused to have it.

Keshav: Its already 6 in the morning. If you peek through the window you can see aunty in the porch and if you go out and look from our balcony, you can see the rose plants. If that is not enough then you hardly have to take some 50 steps to reach there. If you find that is too difficult then I can carry you in my arms or you can jump on my back and I can take you there to meet aunty and the rose plants. What is your plan now ?

Myra: I can walk on my own. 

She removed the duvet and ran out of the room to meet her mother with Keshav following her. He leaned on the wall and watched the mother and daughter while a yawn escaped his mouth.

Vasundra: Keshav, did she wake you up to meet me ?

Keshav: No, I wanted to have a coffee so I pulled her along with me.

Vasundra: Don't spoil her. Now come, I will make your coffee and go back to sleep. You look tired.

Myra: No, he has work to do. He will clean the room and wash my car today. Also he will do all the packings for our mystery vacation next month. This is my punishment for keeping the destination a secret.

Keshav: Only clothes or should I pack all your things and needs ? 

Myra: Ofcourse everything.. wait.. you are flirting with me in the morning ?

Keshav: Ok then I will wait for the night.

Myra: Maa, this uncle has become so bold and keeps teasing me always so you keep him here and take care of him. I m going back to our room and I will lock it from inside.

Myra took a immediate run and Keshav walked out following her.

Vasundra: why are you following her Keshav ? Sleep here only, she must have locked the door by now.

Keshav: She knows I will follow her so she won't do that.

Vasundra smiled at his disappearing figure and as expected the door was not locked. Keshav entered the room and laid on his side closing his eyes. Myra turned facing him and poked his arm and he hummed still with his eyes closed.

Myra: Are you not feeling irritated with me and my behaviour ?

Keshav: Nope. I m enjoying it and I know you love teasing me. Whom will you tease if not me ? You have all rights because you are my wife but before that you are my little one who got all the rights to do these things even before we were married.

Myra: You are too good for me. Poor you.

Keshav chuckled and they slept for some time since they had a movie night. Keshav was in the terrace helping Myra to hang the washed clothes.
