Love You Right

14. Mission!

"Pearl, do you see him anywhere?", Hoseok asked as he made his way towards his girlfriend.

"No, Hobi... I'm starting to worry about him. I didn't say anything when we were with others because I didn't wanna worry Jimin and Jeongguk. But..", Pearl stopped mid-sentence, she was struggling to complete her sentence, as tears threatened to fall down her cheeks.

"C'mere my pretty baby.", Hoseok reached out for his girlfriend and covered her in a soothing hug, rubbing calming circles on her back.

Pearl hugged him back and muttered, "We will find him, right?"

Hoseok let go of the hug and raised his hands to cup her girlfriend's face, "We'll definitely find him, Pearl. Don't worry."

Pearl got on her tip-toes and pecked Hoseok's lips, "Let's look for him at the café shops nearby!"

"What do you mean you guys don't know? HE'S YOUR SON! FOR GOD'S SAKE!", Jin yelled in anger when Taehyung's parents' said that they haven't contacted Taehyung since the dinner.

It was a shame on Taehyung's parents' part, how could they be so careless about their own son?

"Jeonggukkie, tell me what happened to Taehyung!!", Mrs. Kim voiced out and held Jeongguk's hands, "Is he okay, Jeonggukkie?"

Jeongguk snatched his hands back, and looked at Mrs. Kim and then at Mr. Kim, "Oh please - I'm Jeon Jeongguk for you from now on. Taehyung was right when he said that he really needed to get away from you. I didn't get it at that time, but now I know why he said that. And I respect his decision now-if he wants to be away from you then be it. But just letting you know, he'll never be alone, ever. He got me, Jimin, Yoongi, Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok- he got us.", he scoffed, and continued, "Only if you two had cared.."

With that being said, he left the place with Namjoon and Jin.

On call
"Did anybody find him yet?", Namjoon asked hopefully, but he knew the answer to the said question already.

There was no response on the other line from anyone, which made everybody sad.

Jimin let out a choked sob, "Yoongi...you told me that we'll find him."

Hearing Jimin crying broke everyone's heart, especially Yoongi's.

"Yes, and we will, baby.", Yoongi assured Jimin and held his hand, "we'll talk later guys. Let's meet up tomorrow at 6 in the morning at Joonie's place.", he said on the call and received many take cares and stay strong messages.

"Let's go home, Jiminie."

"Ggukie, you can come with us. We have no issues with you staying over.", Jin asked Jeongguk with a smile.

They were currently sat in Namjoon's car, Jin and Namjoon offering Jeongguk to stay with them.

"It's okay, hyung. Thank you but I'll stay here. Maybe," Jeongguk took a deep breath and continued, "maybe Taehyung will come back on his own. And I want to be here for him."

"We love you, Jeongguk. Take care. We'll come pick you up tomorrow.", Namjoon said and hugged him, Jin doing the same.

"I love you guys more. Take care.", Jeongguk said and went out straight towards his apartment.

He reached out for his door and saw that the room was unlocked.

His heart skipped a beat and he just prayed that it was him.
