18.Tulip&Cookies [the end]

"Rise and shine, baby!", Jeongguk said in a very sing-song voice, he wanted to wake up Taehyung lovingly.

Taehyung rubbed his eyes and smiled softly to himself, this is how he wished to wake up in the morning, hearing Jeongguk's voice was so healing, "Morning, beautiful.", he greeted in his raspy morning voice and got out of their bed.

Moving straight towards Jeongguk and hugging him is the first thing Taehyung did, "Did you sleep well?"

Jeongguk hugged him back and kissed the top of his head, "I slept soundly knowing that you were with me.", he smiled and Taehyung let go of the hug.

"I'll freshen up! I must look terrible haha.", Taehyung joked and scratched the back of his neck embarrassingly.

"You look absolutely amazing, but yeah, you should freshen up. I'm already all set for the day."

"That's good, Kookie!", Taehyung answered smiling.

"Tae, do you like baking? Would you like to bake cookies with me?", Jeongguk bit the side of his cheek nervously, what if Taehyung rejected his offer?

Taehyung looked at Jeongguk with wide eyes and a confused expression, but it soon changed to a soft one, "I would love to!", he kissed Jeongguk's cheek and said, "Just gimme twenty minutes and I'll be with you in the kitchen!"

"Take your time, baby. I'll set the kitchen and prepare the things we need while you take a shower!"

"Sounds good to me.", Taehyung said and went to his room to get ready for the day.

"How long did it take me?", Taehyung asked joining Jeongguk in the kitchen. He had just come out of the shower five or some minutes ago.

"Uh, I don't know, maybe like half an hour or some?", Jeongguk shrugged, "But I'm glad now that you're finally here, cupcake."

Taehyung giggled and asked, "What's up with the nicknames?", he side hugged Jeongguk and pecked him on the cheek.

"I don't know, just like them I guess. Plus I get kisses so", Jeongguk grinned and received another kiss, but this time on his lips. It was a quick peck, but he still cherished any and every affection from Taehyung.

"So, what are we making?"

"Chocolate chip cookies. Jin hyung gave them to me and said that they're easy to make.", Jeongguk mentioned with a smile.

"Jin hyung is so cute.", Taehyung gushed out happily.

"And what 'bout me?", Jeongguk pouted and looked at Taehyung expectantly.

"Not so cute, Jeongguk.", Taehyung stuck his tongue out at Jeongguk and laughed out loud, he was obviously teasing the younger simply because he wanted to.

Jeongguk gasped dramatically, "Well, I'm not even gonna complain 'cus you're my boyfriend."

"Kookie, I was just kidding! You're literally the cutest being, I love you so much.", Taehyung kissed Jeongguk's lips, this time for a minute in which Jeongguk returned the kiss as well, "Better?"

"A few more maybe?", Jeongguk said teasingly but received a smack from Taehyung instead.

"Let's start baking already.", Taehyung said and picked up a bowl to mix the batter in.

"Tae, you need to add sugar now!"

"Jeongguk, you're cracking the egg wrong, lemme do it for you!"

"I think the cookies are done! I'll get 'em out.", Jeongguk told Taehyung and went to the kitchen.

Taehyung was currently sat on the couch in their living room watching Totoro.

He noticed that there was a vase with a single tulip, "Jeongguk?"

Jeongguk came back with the cookies and placed them on the table in front of them, "Yes, darling?"

Taehyung blushed a little at the nickname but asked, "Where did you get this Tulip from? It reminds me of an old man I met.", he smiled a little remembering the day he met the old man.

"I think we're talking about the same old man. A grandpa gave it to me the day we were searching for you, I showed him your picture and all. He told me that he'd seen you distressed, but gave me this flower to give to you. This Tulip kinda gave me the hope that I'll definitely see you.", he completed and kissed Taehyung on the lips.

Taehyung returned the kiss, it was smooth and passionate, "I love you.", he said in-between the kiss.

"I love you more."

Eeeeeeekkkkk!!! Finally I've completed this pretty book. I know it's not the best, but it's better than my first book. 🥹💜
What a rollercoaster ride it was, man!
Sure, I felt like quitting this many times but at the same time, I was determined to finish it and that too with a good storyline. And...maybe I haven't exactly disappointed myself? I'll count this as an achievement haha.

Now that this book is completed, I'll be working on my other book called "AOKIGAHARA", mainly a YOONMIN ff with NAMJIN and TAEKOOK as the side ships. (No Hobi doesn't have a ship)
