16. Reunion.

*Ding Dong!*
The doorbell to Taehyung and Jeongguk's shared apartment rang at exact 10 am indicating that someone has come to pay them a visit.

"I'll go take the door, hyungie. You can stay here!", Jeongguk smiled at Taehyung who was sitting in the living room on a couch.

"Oki. Thank you, Kookie.", Taehyung returned the smile and waited patiently for his boyfriend to come back.

"Oh! Tae, Joonie and Jin hyung are here!", Jeongguk yelled from the door and came back with the said couple.

"Taehyung!!!", Jin ran upto Taehyung and hugged me tightly.

"I love you so much, Jin hyung. I missed you, m'sorry.", Taehyung said returning the hug.

"It's okay, my child. Just don't go missing like that, we were worried.", Jin said breaking the hug and smacking Taehyung's head slightly.

Taehyung chuckled through his teary eyes and said, "I won't do it again, I promise."

"Yah! Why are you crying? You're making me cry too!", Jin said sniffling and hugged Taehyung once again.

"Joonie hyung! I missed you and your soothing words. I love you so much.", Taehyung said and hugged Namjoon, resting his head on Namjoon's shoulder gently.

Namjoon ran a hand through Taehyung's hair and rubbed soothing circles on his back, "I know, TaeTae. We missed you lots too. We all love you so much you don't even know."

The doorbell rang again and next came the sunshine couple, Hoseok and Pearl.
They both jumped on Taehyung the moment they saw him, exchanging sweet words among each other.

"We missed you bunches, pretty TaeTae.", Pearl said and hugged Taehyung from one side and Hoseok hugged him from the other side.

"Yah! Hobi hyung don't kiss me! I'll bite you if you do!", Taehyung jokes around while being crushed between Hoseok and Pearl.

They all shared a few talks and Jeongguk got everyone breakfast. He made enough for all this morning as he woke up early today.

"Where's Jimin and Yoongi?", Taehyung asked when the said couple didn't show up until 11 am.

"They said they'd come. I don't know why they're so late.", Namjoon answered Taehyung in a soft tone.

"Could it be that..."

"Could it be what Taehyung?", Jin asked softly, he knew what Taehyung was implying to but he wanted to hear it from Taehyung himself.

"Could it be that...Jimin's upset with me?", Taehyung played with the hem of his shirt and looked down at his lap, he knew Jimin was as sensitive as him and upsetting Jimin would be the last thing he'd ever wanna do.

"How can I be upset with you? You're my Kim Taehyung.", Jimin's voice was heard shortly after Taehyung was done speaking his mind.

"Jimin!", Taehyung's face visibly lit up when he saw Jimin coming towards him with open arms, he immediately pulled Jimin in a bone-crushing hug.

"Fuckin' hell, I missed you so much. I love you, m'sorry. I swear I'd never do what I did. Please forgive me. Jimin, please.."

"Tae...I'm not mad at you. Stop crying, okay? I love you and was just worried about you when you went missing. Those hours that you weren't here were crucial. We just want you to be safe and happy, yeah?", Jimin sobbed and kissed the top of Taehyung's head sweetly.

"Hi Taehyungie. I missed you too, you know...", Yoongi said standing behind Jimin while scratching the back of his neck.

"YOOONGI HYUNG!!!", Taehyung broke the hug with Jimin and now hugged Yoongi with full force.

Yoongi hugged him back and didn't let go until Taehyung did. He let Taehyung hug him for as long as he wanted,

"So...I heard you and Kook are a thing now", he said in hopes to lighten up everybody's mood.

"Aw, yes..yes.", Taehyung answered shyly and went back into Jeongguk's arms.

Yoongi rubbed Jimin's back softly and motioned him to take a seat on the couch with the others.

"What took you two so long to come here?", Hoseok asked.

"My baby was acting up.", Yoongi said and received a smack from Jimin in return.

"Ow! Fine, fine. Well, me and Chim were gonna be here at exact 10 but then we reached here Chim felt overwhelmed and didn't wanna come here right away. So I suggested him we take a little walk and come back with a refreshed mind.",

Yoongi answered sincerely and apologized for being late,

"Sorry if we worried y'all though, I accept my fault and apologize."

"Aww it's no problem at all! Everything's good, Yoongs!", Jin said and everybody agreed.

When nobody was looking Jimin leaned over Yoongi's shoulder and looked at him with heart struck eyes, "why did you lie?", he whispered.

"Just because.", Yoongi merely shrugged and gave Jimin a quick peck on the lips.

"Why didn't you tell them that I was throwing a fit and being bratty? I told you that I didn't wanna see Taehyung because he just kind of left us and then I started crying like a kid. You calmed me down during our walk and made me understand TaeTae's situation. So why did you take up the blame?"

"Baby, you weren't throwing a fit. You were just feeling your emotions is all. And feeling emotions is not a bad thing. You were too caught up with the whole situation that you didn't pay much mind to what the other might have felt. Sometimes, some of our emotions make us go blind towards others, but that doesn't make us a bad person as it was the heat of the moment. What matters is that you immediately understood Tae's situation and took the right step by showing up here as soon as possible. You didn't hold a grudge or whatever, you owned up to your feelings in front of me and that's a brave thing to do.", Yoongi patted Jimin's head and said,
"I love you just the way you're, Jimin."

"I love you so fuckin' much, Min Yoongi.", Jimin said and kissed Yoongi's cheek and nuzzled into him more; giving him a side hug.

Yoongi didn't let go of the hug until Jimin did.

It's kind of a rule (in Disney), you know, never let go of a hug first. (I heard this on Instagram haha)

I don't know if it's true or not, but I find it cute and sensible.
