FALLEN (Zhenya x Taekjoo)

CHAPTER 9

Zhenya lands on a mountain and kept his wings away.
Taekjoo opened his eyes immediately Zhenya landed
Taekjoo felt like he was going to have nightmares the moment he'll fall asleep today

Zhenya let go of Taekjoo after placing him on his two feet

"Where are we" Taekjoo looked around seeing they were on a mountain, he could see the red and orange clouds in a far distance
It must've been a long journey across.

He turned around but couldn't find Zhenya panicking a little, he speed walked  to look for him

"Zhenya where are you" he sounded calm but he wasn't he didn't even know where him himself was and not to mention he's still in hell

Taekjoo felt a hand on his shoulder, turning around
"Do you think it's is funny leaving, I thought you left me seriousl-"

But the person who placed a hand on his shoulder wasn't Zhenya it was a tall slim man who wore a red tuxedo, had red hair and red eyes and ears on top of his head, he was placing his hands on a staff with a big scary smile on his face.

Taekjoo flinched walking backwards he was really scared and the red eyes of this stranger made him feel uneasy.

"Ah no need to fright my friend, i won't hurt you" the man spoke

"More like you can't" Taekjoo turned around seeing Zhenya not too far away from him taking steps forward until he got to where Taekjoo stood.

Taekjoo instinctively went behind Zhenya who had a smile on his face as always
"Alastor welcome back how did it go?"

"It went fairly well, prince Zhenya. Well no time to chit chat with you, your father asked to see me. I'll be taking my leave now have a wonderful day"

The demon named Alastor spoke still smiling, looked at Teakjoo behind Zhenya
"You too little angel, Aha before i forget Caesar made quite a mess killing alot of humans on earth and shot his lover four times. One on his shoulder,two on his abdomen and the last was close to his heart luckily the human survived. I know I'm crazy but he's insane"

Alastor laughed amused
"He shot Leewon?" Zhenya asked
"Yes he did" Alastor answered
"Why though i thought he was obsessed"
Zhenya raised an eyebrow confused
Taekjoo was also interested and terrified

' Caesar shot Leewon and they're still together? He's a madman' Taekjoo thought
The moment Alastor wanted to reply to the question Zhenya cut him off

"You know... forget it it's none of my business anyway, send the reports to my desk when you're done discussing with my father" Zhenya ordered

"Of course prince Zhenya see you soon"
The smile never leaving Alastor's face
Taking one more glance at the angel, Alastor moved back only for red wings to appear they were half the size of Zhenya's but they weren't small either

The demon took off leaving the two alone
Zhenya turned towards Taekjoo
"Sweetie?" Zhenya moved closer to the angel seeing he was still looking towards the direction the demon named Alastor had flown towards.

Taekjoo looked at Zhenya
"Sweetie? you bastard, where were you demon" Taekjoo snapped

"Yeahh..... about that i couldn't find the portal i thought we landed on the wrong mountain but we didn't. Look over there"
Zhenya walked past Taekjoo stopped right on the place they had landed when they got here.
There were red and gold syllables on the ground in a circle

"Those weren't there before" Taekjoo squats near the circle observing the weird writings

"It wasn't because the portal was in use from the other side, Alastor just came from earth so he had used the portal from there making this one temporarily disappear until he was teleported here" Zhenya explained

"Ohh i guess that makes sense so if we use the portal now the one on earth will disappear until we're there?"
Taekjoo asked

"Fast learning effect that's good, let's go now I'm sure it's already dark on earth now" Zhenya walked grabbing Taekjoo along with him now both of them standing inside the circle.

Zhenya closed his eyes stretched his hand in front of him.
He starts whispering an unknown language under his breath.
The gloomy clouds above starts to move in circles.

The circle on the ground was immediately shining bright red and gold

The light was so bright Taekjoo had to squint his eyes because of the brightness

Missing the change in colour of Zhenya's eyes.
Soon the clouds came down going around like a tornado the wind was a bit strong he could hear the air whistling, the clouds were spinning faster while the lights from the activated portal on the ground was somehow spinning though it was on the ground.

Taekjoo closed his eyes, he's seen enough.
Now using his hands as a guide to look for Zhenya he felt the demon beside him and grabbed one of his arm that was on his sides.
Holding onto Zhenya's arm like his life depended on it feeling like he'll be blown away if he lets go even for a second.

The wind died down soon enough but Taekjoo hadn't let go.
"Sweetie we're here" Taekjoo heard Zhenya's voice making him slowly open his eyes.

" I see you like my arm since you don't want to let go, they're also capable of so much more like choking, fingeri-"

"You talk too much and my eyes hurt, I should've closed them the moment I entered that circle" Taekjoo rubbed his eyes and blinking them

"Ah that's so cute you look like a cat" Zhenya laughed.

"A cat seriousl- *sigh* forget it" Taekjoo decided to ignore Zhenya and turned around they were on top of a tower,
a very high one and Taekjoo doesn't like heights ever since his fall making him take a step back

"Do you like the view?" Zhenya asked he was standing right behind Taekjoo

"The view?" Taekjoo had forgotten about it the moment he realised the how far up he was but Zhenya was with him
so he calmed down a bit at least there's someone who could fly he's not alone.

Taking a look at the place 'earth' it was actually night time he's sure it's been two to three hours he had brunch
'i guess time works differently not to mention hell is always gloomy'

He observed a bit more there were different coloured lights illuminating in the darkness bringing beauty out of the city, tall big lamps? By the side of the road it was strange to him but it wasn't bad there were moving cars.
He's heard about cars while he was in heaven from angels who had come for tasks on earth.

Everything about the place was fascinating, the humans walking around, humans drinking from bottles, humans laughing, walking with animals and they dressed differently here.

"It looks like a happy place" he thought out loud
"Yes it is and isn't at the same time, let's go sweetie there's more to see but we gotta do what we came here for right?"
Zhenya winked

Taekjoo nooded in agreement wondering if Zhenya could even see him because it was very dark up here and the moon wasn't there either

With a swift motion Zhenya carried Taekjoo princess style once more

"Hey maybe a warning next time will be good you startled me"

"Alright sorry princess " Zhenya snickered
"Princess? Please can you stop" Taekjoo ears were dark red not like he could see it himself, he doesn't even know his ears turn red when he blushes

"I mean you're my passenger princess right now" Zhenya took off with Taekjoo in his arms

"Whatever" Taekjoo brushed Zhenya off now enjoying the cool breeze hitting his face he glanced at Zhenya's wings

'they're so big,when will mine get to this extent. I'm so pathetic. I'm already a failure thrown from heaven now I'm with a demon' Taekjoo wanted to laugh at his existence but instead closed his eyes
' Since I'm alive i have a reason to live at least Zhenya doesn't want me dead though he's an annoying bastard, I can deal with it'

letting the wind blowing his thoughts away until he drifted off to sleep on Zhenya's arms.
