FALLEN (Zhenya x Taekjoo)

CHAPTER 8

Zhenya and Taekjoo were outside the ernomous palace
Now that Taekjoo looked around it was gloomy, the sky was grey and dark and in a far distance he could see orange and red clouds
'hmm how strange' Taekjoo thought

"Taekjoo" someone called from a distance not from inside the palace Which made Taekjoo turn to where he heard the somewhat familiar voice

Turning around he looks up, seeing Leewon being carried by Caesar who also had black huge wings covered with feathers.
Caesar landed smoothly on the ground carefully dropping Leewon on his feet

Taekjoo was about to smile at the nice man until he saw Leewon covered in bandages on his abdomen and shoulder and he had bruises on his body and one of his arm was broken from the looks of it.
Leewon had a very big coat draped over him which you could tell it was Caesar's

Taekjoo stepped forward toward Leewon
"Leewon what happened, you're hurt"

"Yeah i had a bit of an accident on earth but don't worry I'll be fine AHEM so what about you? You're headed to earth too? Leewon questioned

The question made Taekjoo turn towards Zhenya
Where were they going? Taekjoo didn't know.
Zhenya sighed "Yes we're going to earth"

Hearing this Taekjoo almost sighed in relief but he didn't because he might looks desperate so instead he nodded

"Well safe journey then take care, don't wander off at night and-HEY PUT ME DOWN DAMNIT FUCKING BASTARD MY WHOLE BODY'S ACHING" Leewon who was beaming a few seconds ago was yelling at his fiancé who carried him away while he had been talking to Taekjoo

Caesar didn't even offer a Hello not even to Zhenya.
Not like Zhenya cared, he knew Caesar didn't care about anything else except Leewon he still confused on how a human got his brother on a leach.

"So now shall we go?" Zhenya asked with his never disappearing smile whenever he spoke
"Yeah" Taekjoo nooded not knowing exactly how they were going to get to their destination

"Alright, come" Zhenya stretched out his hand for Taekjoo who looked at it and back at Zhenya.

"Umm no" Taekjoo raised an eyebrow as to why Zhenya would ask for his hand

"But however are you going to get to earth, you can't fly remember?"
Zhenya reminds Taekjoo also making Taekjoo remember he still had a damaged wing that hasn't healed till now.

Taekjoo sighed taking Zhenya's hand.
Zhenya pulled Taekjoo towards himself and carried him princess style

"Do you really have to carry me like this, it's embarrassing" Taekjoo confessed his ears turning a bit red from embarrassment

"Well.... I would've carried you on my back but I need to flap my wings to fly"
Zhenya spoke already getting tired of the dragging conversation.

The black large wings emerged from his back
"Alright hold on tight sweetie it's gonna be a traumatizing ride"

Zhenya flapped his wings taking off with Taekjoo who held on to his dear life.
They were now very far away from the ground, they were flying towards the brighter coloured clouds

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

Taekjoo heard a painfully loud female scream from below.
The scene below made him almost shut his eyes.

There were people being whipped by demons and buried in the fire but they didn't die they just screamed in agony
Taekjoo felt like he's seen enough so he turned away

"These are wicked souls who have committed big sins like murdering the innocent, poisoning out of jealousy, greed, making human sacrifices and many more" Zhenya explained looking forward

"While others that commited little sins like stealing, for example a biscuit also gets whipped and burned but not even half as intense as this"

"Then they're other souls, you see that green cloud over there?" Zhenya didn't point anywhere in particular he was just focusing on where he was going
But netherless Taekjoo saw the cloud in a much farther distance not in the direction they were going.

"Yes i see it" Taekjoo answered

"The cloud isn't particularly green it's still dull grey, but the souls there died a miserable death and they weren't righteous either some of them are people who do good deed for clout and acknowledgement from others while doing despicable things on the other side. They're claiming they should be in heaven they couldn't be held here where normal souls get punished so we used a bit of power making another kind of hell for them"

Zhenya paused thinking he was boring the boy in his arms, glancing at Taekjoo who was already looking at him with interest
Taekjoo looked away when he held eye contact with Zhenya making the demon laugh but continues to speak.

"So yes we used a bit of power turning a big pool of lava into green lava and it burns, the souls are kept there and never to leave once they're tossed in"

Zhenya saw where he was to land wasn't too far anymore so he decided to keep silent till they arrive at their destination

A soul looked up seeing the demon flying over their pit
"HELLP ME" the soul begged making other souls look up seeing the wings
"Help us"
"Help it burns"
"Please please"
"Help me"
"It burnssss"
"It hurts"

The souls chanted

"Help I'm sorr- ARGGGGH

A demon whipped the soul, which made it scream in agony so we're the other souls being flogged ruthlessly

The agonising screams making it's way toward Taekjoo's ears, made him cover them and shutting his eyes not wanting to hear anymore.

Not noticing how Zhenya had picked up speed after he had shut his eyes and ears.

And so the screams continued until they had made it passed the pit.
