CHAPTER 25

It's been four days since Taekjoo escaped to Korea.

Looking through the window, he sees humans roaming about. They were either rushing somewhere, taking pics, strolling or just chilling somewhere.

Earth, a world that was both interesting and strange to him.

Taekjoo began to adapt to his new surroundings, marveling at the wonders of the mortal realm.

Gyu once took Taekjoo to a bustling shopping district, introducing him to the colorful array of clothes, food, and stuff humans seemed to hold dear. They wandered through the crowds, chatting as they tried on new outfits and sampled exotic flavors.

Taekjoo was a bit overwhelmed but he was fine while Gyu was actually excited to show another angel the stuff he does for fun when he's not working.

"You should try this!" Gyu exclaimed, offering Taekjoo a spoonful of ice cream. "It's cold and sweet, like a kiss from a snowflake."

'A snow....flake?' The angel thought.

Taekjoo hesitantly took a bite, his eyes widening in surprise as the flavor exploded on his tongue. "It's amazing!" he gave a small laugh, his face alight with joy.

As the days turned into a week, Gyu continued to teach Taekjoo about the ways of Earth, showing him how to cook simple meals and taking him to explore parks and other natural wonders.

Taekjoo actually liked Earth

Walking to the living room, he sees the other angel in an apron making some food. They've been living together for a week now.

Taekjoo leaned on the wall watching the other angel with a small smile on his lips unknowingly having a light blush on his ears.

Gyu was humming a song, turning around he sees Taekjoo starting at him making Gyu a bit startled.

"Whoa, could you have at least made a sound, that gave me a low-key jump scare". Gyu held his chest

"Haha yeah sure sorry" Taekjoo walks towards Gyu, leaning on the counter.

Gyu was done making food for them and they sat and started eating

Meanwhile, Taekjoo his mind drifting somewhere else.

He had completely forgotten to ask the angel why he was yellow eyed due to the fact he had shown Taekjoo his wings then.

Making Taekjoo completely forget about it until now.

He felt like he was prying but he needed to know because he knew angels weren't made with yellow eyes.

They do have higher rankings angels who reached an enormous level of power that their eyes turn white but not yellow .

Taking a deep breath to start the conversation, Taekjoo spoke

"So Gyu, are you gonna tell me why you have yellow eyes now?" Taekjoo raised a brow waiting for an answer. He had to be cautious even though Gyu had revealed himself as a fellow angel.

Gyu visibly sighed closing his eyes.

Taekjoo could tell he didn't want to talk about it, but he has to know.

" Hmm i guess i can tell you, well you see Taekjoo *sigh* i already feel tired talking about it." Gyu looks Taekjoo straight in the eye.

"I made a mistake, I did something i shouldn't have" The angel looks away from Taekjoo heaving a sigh "but I don't regret it that much, I actually enjoy it" He looks back at Taekjoo with a small smile.

"What is it?" Taekjoo asked already intrigued

"You'll probably hate me but you can't kill me because you know..... I'm a strong and experienced angel. And if you even try to kill me I'll have kill you first " Gyu winked at Taekjoo who was suddenly taking aback by the other angel's words. He was feeling a bit threatened.

"Still wanna hear?" Gyu crossed his arms with a smirk.

Taekjoo even though feeling the threat and getting the warning nods in confirmation.

He wanted to know because it's not something you see in heaven.

Gyu sighed nodding his head, he'd have to tell angel in the end.
