Taekjoo lay on his bed, the room silent save for the sound of his own breathing. The moonlight spilled through the window, casting its silver light over the room. The angel felt the heaviness of despair weighing down on him, every breath a reminder of the hurt he felt.

He closed his eyes, memories of Zhenya's touch and words coming back to him like a cruel ghost. How could he have been so blind? How could he have fallen for a demon who only saw him as a tool for his own gain?

Taekjoo's heart ached with a pain that felt like it would never fade. Tears welled up in his eyes, but he did not let them fall. He had prided himself on his strength, but now he felt as fragile as a snowflake, ready to crumble at the slightest breeze.

He thought back to the moments he had shared with Zhenya, the laughter, the tenderness, the passion. Had it all been a lie? Had Zhenya ever felt anything for him at all?

As the night deepened and the moon's light grew dim, Taekjoo felt himself sinking deeper into the darkness of his own thoughts. He had been foolish, naive, trusting too easily. He had allowed Zhenya to charm and seduce him, to play on his emotions.

And now, he was paying the price. His heart was shattered, his trust broken. He felt empty, hollow, like a husk of his former self. How could he have allowed himself to fall for the lies of a demon?
He had called him a 'thing' that was casted aside so that's what Zhenya had thought of him. Though he wasn't wrong, he was thrown out from his only home.

As the hours passed, Taekjoo found himself caught in a battle between his head and his heart. His head told him to guard himself against Zhenya, to see the demon for what he truly was - a selfish, manipulative creature with no regard for anyone but himself. But his heart ached for the connection they had shared, the bond he had thought was real.

The conflict raged inside him, leaving him restless and haunted by his own thoughts. He wanted to hate Zhenya for his deception, but he found that he could not.
He knew one day he'll become the pawn but now was not his time since they've gotten their hands on another angel.

As the night waned, Taekjoo's mind continued to wrestle with itself. His heart refused to let go of the memory of Zhenya's touch, the warmth of his body, the sound of his voice. It was as if his mind was playing a cruel trick on him, making him relive every moment he had shared with the demon prince.

The pain was overwhelming, and yet, he could not shake the feeling that there was still something between them. Some connection that went beyond what either of them had expected.

'But was it real?'

"Of course not" he spoke outwardly "he's a demon they're created to deceive and i was a fool"

Taekjoo sat up in his bed, his body stiff and aching from the weight of his emotions. He knew he needed to do something to break the cycle of pain and confusion, to find some peace in the midst of his turmoil.

With a deep sigh, he rose from his bed and made his way to the bathroom, his steps slow and heavy. He turned on the faucet, the water running hot and steamy as he poured in some aromatic oils to help soothe his mind.

As the bathtub filled with warm, scented water, Taekjoo slipped off his clothes and sank into the steaming depths, letting the heat envelop his body like a hug. He leaned his head back, allowing the water to soothe away the tension in his muscles and the pain in his heart.

He closed his eyes, trying to focus on the present moment, to let the worries and doubts fade away. But his mind was still a battlefield, his thoughts refusing to quiet.

After the meeting ended, Zhenya disappeared along with the other 4 demons, Caesar remained behind, seemingly lost in thought before turning his heels and returning into the palace. Taekjoo had watched them from his balcony when they took off.
