' 𝙏𝙎𝘼𝙃𝙀𝙔𝙇𝙐 '
—𝐊𝐀'𝐘𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 MAN Until nightfall. Where the forest came to life with its nocturnal animals and the unusual but no less beautiful glowing grass, trees and plants that lit the way to all of Eywa.
The demon, as she had taken to calling him- was skittish. She watched him wonder around like a lost baby, mumbling and huffing to himself as he repeatedly smacked a metal communicator to his palm, only for static to escape it.
He had wide eyes at the sight of the forest. The trees the size of the mountains that existed in his world- swayed soothingly in the wind. The sky was a deep blue. Dark- but at the same time lit up with beautiful amounts of color from the large moon resting to the sky, and the grass that lit up under his feet with each step.
Ka'yi watched it all, a lack of interest- but still she watched.
Ka'yi crouched, close to the tree that she had made herself blend into- her yellow eyes the only thing that could be seen if someone was looking. Her tail swayed behind her, flicking in the wind, feeling at the ground and the tremors in Eywa's soil.
Ka'yi remained composed. Her hand rested casually beside her thigh, while the other held a sweet fruit from Pandora.
Vibrant feathers adorned her hair, swaying gently in the night breeze, occasionally tickling her ears, which flicked with a hint of annoyance.
Her unwavering gaze followed the Winzaw, tracking its trot along the bioluminescent purple path that illuminated the dark night.
A distant grunt reached her ears, drawing her attention toward the Avatar. The furrowed expression on its face hinted at some struggle.
Using a piece of torn cloth coming from the thing he wore to cover his other clothing, the Avatar fashioned a makeshift torch, dipping it into a nearby puddle of honey before igniting it with the few matches in his pocket.
Ka'yi suddenly jumped back slightly when a flash of light filled the dark area- making her eyes quickly adjust, her pupils growing smaller.
As the torch flickered to life, a distinct series of yups and yips echoed through the night — the Nantang were near. Ka'yi shifted from her relaxed posture to a state of alertness.
While she had no intention of harming the creatures of Eywa without cause, the Dreamwalker seemed to lack the same reverence.
The Avatar's eyes widened with fear as the grey creatures surrounded him, their six legs and chitinous armor imposing a threatening presence.
