When Rosé heard that Sofia Nishimura’s record label wants to collaborate with her as a songwriter and collaborate with her on a song for her latest album, she wasn’t surprised since Sofia Nishimura is a very popular singer and of all the colors she has heard of her music, and even the girls love her songs too, like Lisa made a dance cover, Jennie decided to do those song covers for the fun of it, and Jisoo decided to use the instrumentals of one of Sofia’s songs as an intro to one of her vlogs, and people will agree that Sofia is pretty; she didn’t entirely expect Sofia Nishimura to be gorgeous.
They met in the recording studio so they could talk about the song and the collab with the company’s producers, including Sofia’s manager, who, as Rosé notices, has a red streak on his hair but ignores it as she was more focused on Sofia, who she thought was really pretty in real life, and so was her smile and her voice when she talks, and Rosé wouldn’t mind getting hypnotized by her voice, not that she would admit it. After that meeting, she decided to do a little research because she wanted to know more about her client. It isn’t bad to get to know more about her client, so it won’t be awkward the next time.
In her research, she found out through her interviews and her wiki that Sofia’s dad, Hiroyuki Nishimura, migrated to Spain with his family when he was 10 years old and grew up there. She has three siblings, and she and Sofia have a one-year age difference. The reason she moved to Japan was because she couldn’t see herself achieving fame in her home country and decided to travel and live in her dad’s country. She won an audition for a Japanese idol company and became a successful solo artist years later.
After learning about her, she then went to their GC to tell the girls about it, and it was normal to tell as they usually message their GC about what’s happening in their lives, like getting cast in movies, new music, and about their personal lives too, as they have known each other for years and are each other’s family. She messaged first to see if the others were not busy, and they immediately answered her, asking what’s up. First, they talked about what’s up with Jisoo since she and Hae-In decided to live together, and Jisoo said it’s fine and she’s adjusting and enjoying living together with him. Seeing how she talks about him makes Rosé remember her ex and wonder if that would have been them if they fixed their relationship, but she shudders at that thought; she didn’t want to think about it and was more happy to see Jisoo this happy with her love life.
Then to Jennie, who’s still working on her solo, and Lisa, who got cast in a movie, and then it was her next, and she then reveals to them that she will be writing a song for Sofia Nishimura and will also be collaborating with her for an album, which surprised the girls as they congratulated her and asked questions about it, and Lisa then jokingly warns her not to fall for her, and Rosé scoffs as she reads that message and tells Lisa that she wouldn’t (if she only knew), and after that conversation they then talked about hanging out when they’re free, and after that they said their goodbyes, and Rosé decided to check on the songs she has written to see what Sofia would choose since their next meeting is on Thursday after she fed Hank, but she couldn’t stop thinking about the girl with a smile.
