the wheels of the plane crashed down onto the runway and the shaking of the plane awakened ari.
as she left the airport and waved goodbye to nai as she got into her taxi her mind skipped over what she was doing straight to what dom was doing. she couldnt stop herself from thinking about him, and she wasnt mad about it.
——— 4 days later ———
"ughhh" ari groaned as someone was continuously knocking on her apartment door at 5 in the morning, and they wouldnt stop. she felt a bit weirded out by the situation but brushed it off. when she opened the door her sleepy eyes widened and a big smile spread across her face
"DOM!!" she yelled jumping into his open arms,
" i missed you." she said burying her head into his neck, he didnt say anything in reply he was just grateful to be with her once again.
she invited him in and couldnt stop gazing at him with her adoring eyes because after not seeing him for a while she had really missed him, even after just 4 days. he told her how boring it was without her and how much he wanted to see her and how he couldn't even go home to his apartment without first saying hi to her, but as he was about to make his way home he admitted to being too tired and slightly jet lagged so she allowed him to stay over, thats what she was hoping for anyways, i mean who wouldnt?!
they both entered aris bedroom, with dom pulling his stink airport shirt off, already getting comfy under her sheets. before she turned off her light, ari gave him one last adoring look, she had missed him a lot which seems like an exaggeration as it was only a couple of days, but they had left off in such a weird way that it kept them both hanging and wanting each other more than anything. ari turned the light out and she was going to settle her head on him but before she could do anything else, his head was already on her chest and he was fast asleep.
