Chapter Two
"Here," iniabot ni Jade ang kutsilyong nakita sa crime scene at nahulaan din nilang ginamit sa pagsaksak kay Mr. Crimson at Ms. Mercado.
"Thanks," sabi ni Aldrin at kinuha ito. The object is wrapped in a plastic and the Head Chief gave him a permission to use it on his investigation.
"They're really good at making plans, that's the only evidence we had. Wala naman silang ginalaw na mga gamit sa loob ng bahay. Siguradong nangyari yung saksakan sa loob din ng kwarto ni Mr. Crimson, kahit yung ginamit nilang tali sa Ate mo hindi namin nakita. Our team searched for the whereabouts of the knife, the brand, and then found out na si Mr. Crimson pala talaga ang may-ari ng kutsilyo na yan." Jade explained while Aldrin listened carefully.
Ang team sana ni Jade ang mag-iimbestiga ng kaso pero dahil pinayagan na siya ni Head Chief, ngayon binibigyan siya ni Jade ng mga impormasyong nakuha nito in the past investigations.
"They're quite excellent, using the owner's things to hurt victims themselves, and only Mr. Crimson's fingerprint were found, parang pinamumukha nila na sinaksak ni Mr. Crimson ang sarili niya even though it's quite...really impossible to believe."
Aldrin sighed, "That's not it, there's a possibility that Mr.Crimson stabbed himself nga because he was forced to do so, but that would only take 40 percent chances, the 60 percent would be likely the murderer used a protective weapon to cover their hands and stab Mr. Crimson and then when he's not breathing anymore, they put the knife on his hands to look like he stabbed himself. One is a foolish to stab themselves that many times."
"What a deep grudge, what a deep hatred," Jade commented.
"Oh, as you know, that knife...uh...killed your sister too..." Jade hesitated.
The topic at first was only focused on Mr. Crimson and Jade is afraid to involve Aldrin's older sister but he had no choice but to remind him.
"I know," Aldrin said softly.
"I know Mr. Crimson won't hurt my sister...I know he won't stab her that much...it's not him...but then who? "
Hinawakan ni Aldrin ang ulo niya na parang nag-iisip na naman siya ng bagong problema na hanggang ngayon hindi niya parin alam kung paano solusyunan.
"If not a man then a woman. If it was a man, I doubt it, wala akong nabalitaang naging boyfriend si Ate, unless yung mga highschool exes niya but it's been years and what, after nun wala nang naging boyfriend si Ate. Imposibleng bumalik sila for revenge and then this is what they did? The audacity!"
Nakikinig lang si Jade sa mga sinasabi ni Aldrin, afterall he was once a holder of this case, and seems Aldrin needed a little help too.
"If it's a woman...then...then...who?" Aldrin asked himself, completely forgotten Jade's existence infront of him.
"Right!" Umalog ang mesa dahil sa konting galaw ni Jade, "Tama ka, pwedeng babae nga Aldrin, but the question is who? Kung babae ang pumatay kay Mr. Crimson and Ms. Stef then that'd be possible. The reason of the murder can be because of jealousy? Pero kanino? To Mr. Crimson? Or to Ms. Stef.
Si Mr. Crimson lang ang target pero nadamay ang ate mo? Or si Ate mo ang target at nadamay lang si Mr. Crimson? "
What Jade had said made sense too, pero napaisip si Aldrin, kung babae ang suspect paano niya nagawa nang ganun kalinis ang krimen? May kasabwat ba ito o mag-isa lang? Is it only a jealousy? Or more than that?
"That's not right, " Aldrin added, "Kasi kung babae nga, paanong ganun kalinis ang ginawang krimen? It was well-planned."
"Unless, the suspect really has money, and then naghanap ng kasabwat sa krimen, pinagplanuhan lahat ng yun."
