Many of the other pages spoke about how horrible life has been living with her Uncle, but they slowly got replaced with 'This is my duty'.

"Dear Diary.."

"My uncle has found someone for me to marry. Allow me to give you some context, in every Galaxtian tribe the females, once of age, get taken to their Uncle's homes to be trained to fulfil their duty. To be sold off to other men from different tribes. My Uncle has found one for me, he is very...odd. But it is my duty, I can't do anything"

"UNKNOWN! COME HERE NOW!" Her uncle cried out. A now-adult Unknown puts her diary down on her bed and goes to him. Her once colorful eyes are now a steel grey and her tail flame barely burning.

In front of her stood two Galaxtians, her uncle, and an older one. His hair was silver grey, eyes were the color of gold nuggets. His horns swirled around his head like a ram's horns. He had a long staff which he used as a walking stick as his poster was terrible. His staff had feathers from a different variety of birds, skulls from small rodents and animal husks. He smelled like Mossy Wood, with a faint hint of blood.

Unknown bowed "Greeting Elder..what brings you to our humble abode this fine Meridiem?" {Latin for "Afternoon"}.

The elder gave her a kind smile "Hello Unknown, what a well-mannered girl!" He gave her a pat on the head. "Rise, I have a task for you" The elder raised his hand indicating her to stop bowing and stand up tall.

Unknown did just that. "What is it, Elder?"

The Elder Galaxtian took a breath "You know it is tradition for all family members to come forth when the females of our tribe get sold off, correct?"

Unknown nods "Of course my Elder, this has been our way of life for many years now"

The elder smiled "Good, so you know our history!" He claps. Unknown's eyes and face stayed numb.

The elder got serious "We cannot complete the ceremony if your brother isn't he-"
Unknown cuts him off "My brother abandoned me when I was young, he has no right to partake in this sacred tradition" Her eyes turned red in anger. Years had passed and she still held onto hope that one day he'd return...but all those years of waiting were in vain. He never arrived. Her love for her brother turned into hatred and resentment.

Her Uncle slapped her across the face "Don't interrupt our elder you worthless pile of sordes!"

Unknown quiets down and bows "Apologies great Elder...I spoke out of turn.."

The elder waved his hand "No no, it's quite understandable you feel such a way, which is why I am sending you to retrieve him back..."

Both Unknown and her Uncle's eyes widen in shock. Unknown could feel the pent-up anger building up in her Uncle's body as he clenched his teeth. He spoke between his teeth, trying not to snap at the Elder "With all due...respect...my Elder, this girl has to stay here, she needs to learn more of her duty, know how to properly do as she's told and!-"

The Elder Galaxtian raised his hand.

Her Uncle grew silent.

"It is clear that your niece is quite educated already! She knows her place, if she speaks out of turn she acknowledges it, she doesn't fight you, and she knows our history. She is more than ready." The Elder said in a calm tone of voice. "After all, if my sources are correct" He walked up to Unknown and poked the middle area above her chest "You used to have quite the connection with Jacob...If anyone can bring him back, it's you"

Unknown just stayed still and took a breath "I accept this humble quest, my elder".

The Elder retracts his arm and smiles "Good! Now, get ready, you leave soon! Meet me at the border when you're done" And with that, the Elder left the hut.

Her uncle flipped over the table in anger "You..you better not screw this up" He gave her his usual death glare.

She tensed up ever so slightly and nodded "I won't let you down, Uncle Aloysius.."

Unknown was now at the border of her tribe, a small bag on her back and her hair tied up in a ponytail.

The elder spoke "You have to gather the required ingredients for the portal to open. Don't fail Unknown.." He held out his hand at the forcefield and opened a hole in it.

Unknown nods "I won't..oh great elder.." She bows and takes her first step out of the tribe's barrier... She's now officially outside her Tribe's borders..and entering the unknown...
