Unknown's Diary..

Mother's Day Special

Hey! So to honour Mother's Day, let's see the relationship between my characters and their mothers in "Unknown's Diary"!

Starting off with Unknown and Mildred (Her mother's name):

Unknown as a kid, she really loved her mom, you could call her a bit of a momma's girl. Since in her tribe women are the ones who care for the young, she spent most of her time with her mom during the day. Of course, whenever he could, her dad would take care of Unknown and take her out to see the stars! Now however Unknown has resentment towards her mother for abandoning her to her Uncle, she knows she had to but she wishes her mother would have fought for her. She of course misses her too, wishing she could have stayed with her.

Moving on we have Slimey and Cordelia (Slimey's mom's name):

Slimey has always been close with her family. She's even been teaching her dad English with the help of her mom. The two have always been close and love relaxing in the swamp ponds. Cordelia is also one of the few slimes that can control water. Unfortunately Slimey didn't get that gift, but she's found her own ways to have water fights with her mother. She misses her a lot now that she's travelling with Unknown and the group and can't wait to see her again soon!

Woof and her parents:

To put it short, Woof's parents died when she was little and trying to protect her from Sharklins. So she grew up with the other pack members taking turns to take care of her, raise her and teach her how to survive on her own, that's mainly why she wants to find this artifact. So she can finally give the Pack who raised her the life they deserve.

Fin and Reef (His mother's name):

Fin's always had a great relationship with his family. He's a hunter, his dad a guard, his mom a merchant and he also has a little sister named Seashell. He loves everyone in his family and would do anything to protect them, especially his little sister. His relationship with his mom is super wholesome. He'll always surprise her with a gift when he leaves for hunting in the open waters. Sometimes a shell, other times a fish he hunted, and very few times he'll bring back jewellery from corpses he found. He's on this mission now to keep his family safe and hope the prince hasn't done anything to them yet.

Fang and Queen Thunderbird:

Fang has always been the scapegoat for his brother Storm, which leads to him getting hurt by his mother. He even has a scar on his right eye due to Storm's ideas. He made it look like Fang had torn up a portrait of the royal family, and the queen used her lightning breath to hit his face. Luckily his eye still works after that, but sometimes it gets blurry and hard for him to see. 

Fang had a much better relationship with his dad than his mom, but fate had other plans for his dad. (If you know you know, if not, no spoilers). The Queen has a much better relationship with her oldest son, Storm and spoils him rotten. You'll see that more as the chapters go on!

Ursa Major and Minor:

These two don't have parents, but view God as their father and creator. They love him, but Ursa Major tends to wonder why all living creatures view them as gods and not God himself. Minor tells her not to think on it too much

These are characters that will appear further in the book. Let's see if anyone will guess what they are 🤭
