Seriyah's POV
"You ready to come homeeee" Solańa said happily. She's the only that knows I'm coming home. It's been 3 years and I ready to go. "Yes bro. been tired of being here after the first year shii is so boring" I tell her as I'm styling my hair.
"How everyone been?" I ask to get another conversation started. "Everyone is good the boys is focusing on music and going on tour, 83 got a new girl, me and ddot are together now like I'm really his wife fr" she tells me. I nod my head hearing all the good news she told. It replays what she said and I stop what I'm doing.
"Wait. Did you say 83 got a new girl?" I question. "Yea she nice and all. Are you still on him? It's been 3 years I thought you woulda been over him by now" she says and the expression on my face disappears. I stayed loyal although we aren't together.
I stayed away from any attention that came my way. I thought we could've became something now that I'm coming back but I guess not.
"No I don't like him anymore, it just caught me by surprise but I'm happy for him" I say low. Solańa's face changes she can tell that my voice tone changed. "I can tell you're lying" she says. I stayed silent for the rest of the time and continued to get ready.
I hang up the phone and text her that I was leaving. I returned everything yesterday so I'm able to go straight home. I get an Uber to take me to the airport.
I go through security and everything then I get on the plane. All that's on my mind is 83 and his new girl.
*few hours later*
I text Solańa that I've landed. I go pick up my bags and wait outside looking for her car.
"Where the fuck is you at" Solańa's voice speaks through the phone. "I'm by section A" I say. "Ohh alright I see you" she says and I hang up the phone.
"HEYY BESTT!!" She says getting out the car giving me a hug "hope you know everyone has been talking about you a lot today" she tells me and I smile. I put my bags in the car and get in after.
"Can you take me home first, ima bring my bags in then we can go see the boys" I tell her and she nods her head.
"Hi mama I'm home" I go upstairs to see my mom in her room. "Oh my god. Hey princess why didn't you tell me you were coming back?" She questioned. "I wanted to surprise everyone" I tell her.
"I'm gonna go see the boys now" I tell her. "You just got here settle down for a bit" she tell me but I obviously don't listen. "Mamá I have to go I haven't seen them in a long time and I miss them" I tell her, she rolls her eyes and waves me off.
I lock the front door behind me, then I get in Solańa's car. "So what's her name?" I ask. "You talkin bout 83 girl right?" she asks and I nod my head slowly. I'm trying not to think about it but I wanna be prepared for everything. I'm trying not to crash out. Literally.
"Her name is Mikayla. But why do you care, thought you said you didn't like him anymore." She says. "I don't. I'm just asking" I tell her. We arrive to the boys house. They don't know I'm here, at least I don't think they do.
I hear everyone talking so I keep walking, seeing everyone in the kitchen. "Oh shit. You're back" Notti says running up to me giving me a hug, next came ddot then dd. "What's up how you been" 83 says dabbing me up. This isn't gonna be easy. "I've been good what about you" I ask. "You know how I am, stay chillin at home" he says. I don't acknowledge his girl standing right next to him, im acting like she isn't there.
"Oh my bad. Mikayla this is Seriyah, Seriyah this is Mikayla." He introduces us and I give her a smile. I walk out the kitchen going to the living room, leaving them alone.
"Seriyah can you come upstairs with me real quick" Notti asks, I nod my head and follow him to his room. "How you feel" he asks me and I stay silent.
"Riyah you can talk to me. I can see that it's bothering you" he says. "I thought he liked me yk I thought he could've waited but I guess I was wrong from the beginning but it's all good. I'm happy for him she seems good for him anyways" I tell him.
He knows this hurt me and it shows. I realized that not everyone will wait on someone. I guess I'm the one that will.
"You want me to talk to him about it?" He asks, I shake my head no. "Please don't it's gonna make shit awkward" I tell him. "He never wanted us to tell you but he did like you a lot ever since you left he's talked about you 24/7. I swear I was gonna glue his lips together cause he wouldnt shut up" Notti explain. I starts laughing and little bit, but if he talked about me so much then why did he get a girlfriend all of the sudden. I question in my head.
"We're gonna go somewhere later, you can stay in here for as long as you need to" he tells me. I nod my head and Notti walks out the door.
I hear yelling coming from downstairs and my heart drops. I open the door and run downstairs. "The fuck is going on" I ask ddot. "They got into it, it's normal just ignore it" he tells me and I look at him stupid. How the fuck do I ignore that?
"Fuck you mean this is normal?!" I question. "It's a weekly thing. Either 83 or kayla does something wrong, they argued about it one of them get in they feeling. They make up and act like shii never happened" he explained. My heart is still racing. I hate hearing yelling it always scared me cause it could escalate to something worse.
I sit on the couch, distracting myself from whatever just happened. 83 comes from out the kitchen and sits down also. "What happen this time" dd asks. "She just trippin, it's stupid anyways" he explains. I'm in my phone listening to what he said, but my face stays in my phone. I can feel someone staring at me.
I look up seeing 83 staring at me, when we make eye contact he looks away. I get up and go back upstairs.
*few hours later*
I'm half sleep and I hear my phone go offf. It's notti texting me.
