Seriyah's POV
I stayed over at the boys house, for some reason 83 stayed too. I don't hate him. I could never. But the fact he's with someone other than me for hurts. It shouldn't. I don't like him, we're just friends. That's how it's always been.
I hear a knock at the door. "Come in" I say, the boys mom enters the door. "Hey how are you" she asks. Her English wasn't always the best but I could understand what she says. "I'm good how have you been" I respond. "I'm good. I have a question for you" she says. "Yes?" I respond
"I've noticed some distance with you and 83, what's going on?" She questions. My heart drops. Is it that noticeable that I've been avoiding him?
"Nothing is going on it's just he has a girl and I don't want her to think I want him or anything" I tell her and her head tilts to the side. "Why would you think that?" She asks.
"Before I left, me and 83 were really close and I wanted to stay that way but since I came back and found that out then I wanted to give space" I explained and she nods her head.
"Ok well, do you like him? You can be honest I won't tell" she says. I guess this is my time to explain how I really feel.
"I do I've always liked him ever since I met him I had some type of feeling towards him. Solańa told me that he did like me but I don't see it and when I came back it really showed me that he didn't like me. So I accepted that I won't force him to have feelings for me" I explain. Fuck, I wish I could tell him this.
"Sweetheart I think he does like you. The way he looked at you when you walked through that door coming back and the way he talked about you while you were gone, he missed you. Everyday it was always when is she coming back. I think he used that girl as a distraction to try and break those feelings but I can tell they didn't fade away." She tells.
"You sure that all happened? That don't seem like the 83 I know" I say laughing. "Yes, it happened if you don't believe me ask Ethan and David" she says.
"What should I do?" I question. "I think you should tell him how you feel" she says. That's the scary part. I wanna tell him but I doubt it's gonna go anywhere.
We sit in silence for 5 minutes before I finally speak up. "Ok I'll tell him" I tell her. A smile forms on her face and her head starts to nod, I could tell Im making a good decision. Hopefully.
After she leaves I text notti. I know it's late but I'd rather get this off my mind now.
