"Hey guys! Guess what today is!" Miko shouted, leaping out of Bulkhead's alt onto the Autobot base floor. Skyflare and Sunlight were playfully slapping eachother while Razorwing was playing a videogame on the couch. Ratchet ignored the loud human and continued talking to Optimus.
The shout had caught Skyflare's attention and she stopped slapping, "What is so special today Miko? It seems just like a normal boring day to me."
"You DON'T KNOW?! It is Christmas Eve!!" The girl exclaimed jumping around, "Tomorrow will be Christmas! and there will be presents, candy, family, and more!" Miko continued, as the femmlings all surrounded Miko in curiosity.
"What is 'Christmas'?" Sunlight spoke up while Razorwing shoved her aside.
"Where is the presents and cand-" The insecticon began.
"SSHHHH!" Skyflare interrupted, as she put her servo on both of the other youngling's faceplates so they were muffled.
"Christmas is a human holiday, It celibrates a birth, family time, and the coming of a new year. Christmas Eve, that's today, is the day before Christmas. We normally put up lots of decorations for this holiday. Speaking of decorations- I think the base needs some. It looks bare now that Christmas is tomorrow." The human explained, while the younglings eagerly listened.
"Well what do you want us to do?" Sunlight asked after prying Skyflare's servo off her faceplate.
"Well.. We first need a pine tree, a BIG one, ornaments, and lights! Lots of bright colorful lights!" Miko exaggerated.
"How will we get a big tree? All of us are too small." Sunlight mentoned, looking worriedly at everyone.
"I'm too small but Sire is not! He can carry it in his trailer!" Skyflare exclaimed.
"Well he's your Sire so you have to ask him." Razorwing said, shoving Sky in Optimus' direction.
The leader was still talking to Ratchet and had not heard the conversation about Christmas. The youngling strolled over to the Prime's pede and tapped on his leg. That got his attention and he looked down at his child.
"Yes Skyflare? is there anything your require?" Optimus asked.
Ratchet glared at her because she interrupted the conversation,"I guess we'll finish talking later." The doctor grumbled and left toward the computer.
"Sire, Miko told us about a special day called 'Christmas' and it's tomorrow. We were wanting to decorate a big tree in the base for Christmas, but all of us are too small." She paused, "Soooo I was wondering if you could help?~" She gave him puppy optics.
"It is Christmas already? Time passes quite quickly... If that is what you need, I will help. We will go to a large pine forest and find a suitable Christmas tree." The Prime replied with a hint of a smile.
"YAAY! Thank you Sire!" Sky shouted, hugging his leg. The other younglings and Miko also cheered.
