Shadow arrives on the island without much trouble, and is almost immediately attacked

Shadow: The guest reception is even more pleasant than on the previous island.
His next opponent jumps out of the goms. Shadow Chaos tries to weaken his attacker with spear attacks, but his hard armor complicates the matter. During his next jump, Shadow grabs his tail, dodges the missiles shot at him, turns the shark on its back and wants to end the fight with a series of Homming Attacks. The shark roared in pain, but it would take more than that.
Shadow: Tch! This is taking too long! I don't have time for this!
At the Shark's next jump, when it tries to catch the hedgehog, Shadow unexpectedly enters its mouth in the form of Spindash, runs through its intestines, from the inside, injuring its opponent. He also makes his way out, then destroys his attacker with a Chaos Laser attack. Again, a blue glowing gear.
