Athena charged toward her daughter and swung a punch at her, but Beth dove to the side. She watched as her mother's fist broke through the pillar she had been standing. Beth looked back and scrambled to her feet as Athena ripped her fist out of the pillar, letting it crumble into rubble.
"Now, do you see?" Athena asked "Sompared to me, you are all ants!"
Beth growled and ran at her mother again, then swung a punch at her stomach. Athena jumped and blocked Beth's punch with a kick of her own. She landed and punched at Beth's neck, but she leaned back to dodge the attack. She swung her body around and threw a left hook punch at her mother's jaw. Athena ducked under the attack, then stood up, and stopped a roundhouse kick with her palm. Athena pushed Beth's foot down, punched her in the chest, and roundhouse kicked her in the ribs. Athena tried to return with a punch of her own, but Athena hook punched her in the stomach. Beth lurched forward and Athena hammer fisted her in the back of the head, knocking her down. Beth landed on her stomach, then Athena kicked her in the ribs. Beth was knocked away and almost landed in Hestia's hearth, but she managed to stop just before it. Beth groaned and got back up, ran at her mother, and swung a punch, but Athena leapt over her attack. She landed and hook punched Beth twice across the jaw, then grabbed her by the neck, and threw her through her uncle's throne.
"My ultimate power is too much for you to withstand," Athena told her daughter as she walked toward her "Your changes of victory are zero!!!"
Beth coughed and struggled to her feet while retorting "This... is not about my victory... it is about my family." She got back up and began to walk backwards while calling forth another weapon to her.
"They will fall as well." Athena slapped the spear that Beth threw at her away.
The two ran at each other and Athena hook punched her daughter in the jaw. She stumped to the side and Athena knee struch her in the ribs. Beth fell to her knees and began coughing, so Athena, taking no pity, kicked her into the air. As Beth was falling back down, Athena spun, and side thrust kicked her daughter. She went flying into one of the pillars behind all the thrones. Beth screamed again as her back was slammed against the silver pillar. She scrambled back to her feet and ran toward her mother with a desperate punch. Athena sighed and grabbed her fist, pulled her in, and thrust a heel kick into her stomach. Beth tumbled back into the main part in front of the semicircle of the thrones... at least those which were left.
"This fight is pointless. Your struggle? Also pointless," Athena scolded her daughter as she walked out to her again "It did not have to be this way."
"Huh... sound like you... took Baldr's words to heart," Beth replied with a slight laugh as she pushed herself back up, blood dripping from... well almost everywhere on her body "Guess you are more like the Asgardians than you thought."
This seemed to irritate Athena, who punched the remains of Zeus' throne. Beth considered this as a sign that it was go time, so she cracked her knuckles. Beth let out a yell as the two ran at each other and Beth swung a punch at her. Athena twisted away from the attack, then turned, and blocked a punch. She pulled Beth into a hook punch which made her daughter stumble backwards. Once beth regained her balance, she jumped, and kicked at her mother's head. She blocked the attack with her forearm and pushed Beth away, then when she landed, her daughter punched her in the nose. Athena wiped her nose, then stomped down at Beth, but she backflipped away from the attack. Beth landed, launched herself forward, and punched her mother in the chest. She actually slid backwards and Beth raised another weapon up from outside. Athena ran toward her daughter and slapped the weapon away again. She swung a punch at Beth, but she grabbed her wrist, rolled over Athena's back, landed, and punched her in the jaw. Athena looked up and grabbed Beth's foot as she tried to hook kick her. Athena pulled Beth toward her and grabbed her by the neck. Remembering what she had done against Tyr, Beth tried to do it against her mother. She hammerfisted her elbow to make her let go and swung a hook punch up at her jaw.
Athena blocked her punch and grabebd her once again before telling her "You are nothing!!!" She daughter tossed her to the floor again and cracked her neck.
Beth backrolled up to her feet and dove away when she saw her other falling down toward her. When she landed, her weight caused dents and cracks to form around the impact point. She turned back to Beth and ran towards her once again. Once she was in range Athena hook punched Beth across the jaw. Blood flew out of her mouth, then Athena kicked her in the chest. Beth stumbled back and tried to return with a hook punch. Athena slapped her daughter's weak, exhausted strike away, then grabbed her by the throat. She picked her up, spun around, and threw her to the other end of the throne room. She bounced and tumbled on the floor and finally burst through the wall on the side adjacent from Athena. Beth went flying out and collapsed on the cliff that Hera had tossed Hephaestus from when he was born.
As Beth got up and tried to run away, Athena leapt back down to her, and asked "You thought you could escape me?" She landed in front of her with a spear in her hand, her landing creating a crater beneath her "No!" Beth sighed and called Gungnir to her hand, pointing up at her mother's throat "Oh, you believe killing me, even if you could, will change father's opinion?" They started circling one another and Beth let the tip of her spear drag across the ground "Zeus would never let a mere Demigod become an Olympian." She spun her spear into a combat stance.
"Well, remember..." Beth got into a battle stance of her own "Bloodshed is the universal language of the Gods."
Athena sneered at this remark and the two rushed each other for one final showdown. Beth stabbed at her mother's head, but she grabbed Gungnir's pole, and pushed the weapon down. Athena swung her spear around her head and tried to attack Beth in an unexpected way. The clever Demigoddess warrior moved the pole of Gungnir and blocked Athena's attack. Athena spun around in a dodge as her daughter tried to bring Gungnir's blade down through her head. When she turned back to her daughter, she swung her spear at her head. Beth rolled under the attack, leapt up into the air, and corkscrew kicked Athena in the head. She fell onto her back and when Beth landed, she spun her weapon into her underhand, and stabbed down at Athena's chest. The Goddess of War knocked her weapon away, side rolled back up to her feet, and they swung their weapons at each other.
"This battle is pointless!" Athena told her daughter as their weapons locked with the others energies.
"Are you sure about that?" Beth asked as she pushed away from her mother "Because you seem to be struggling a little bit."
Athena growled and swung at her daughter's chest, but Beth used Gungnir's pole to block the strike. Athena pulled back, spun around, and swung her spear down at Beth's head. She ducked and moved away from the attack, then stabbed at Athena's head. She blocked the attack, pushed Bungnir away, and stabbed at beth's stomach. She regained control over her weapon and pushed their weapons together to block Athena's attack. She pushed Athena back and the Goddess stabbed her spear into the ground. She dragged it out and took a page out of Nate's book. She threw a piece of the ground at Beth, but she justed shattered it with the tip of Gungnir. Beth spun around and stabbed at Athena's neck, but she ducked, and leaned under the attack.
Before she could get back up, a red glow enveloped the Goddess as Beth muttered "Stjórnaðu persónulegum þyngdarafl." She threw her mother into a wall and raced toward her again.
Athena deflected a strike and asked "Do you really think you can win?"
"Maybe not," Beth admitted as she kicked her mother in the face "But that does not mean I can not try." She landed and yelled "Stjórn yfir hásæti!" Athena's throne was tossed down from above and knocked Athena back "Time to finish this!" Beth ran toward her mother, but Athena swept her legs out from under her.
"I agree!" Athena got back up and swung her spear down at Beth's head, but she blocked, and lodged the weapon's tip into the wall next to them "Fine." She let go of her spear and tackled Beth against the wall, then threw her back towards the edge of the cliff while grabbing Gungnir off the ground "No fight left, little girl?" Athena asked as she stomped down on Beth's chest to hold her down "Fine, it will make this so much-"
