"whatcha doing?" Celina asks, yawning as she enters the living room around 5 am to see Sadie doing some sort of research.
"trying to figure something out" Sadie replies, her focus not wavering from her computer.
"what's that?" Celina questions, walking into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee.
"how intense my feelings are" Sadie answers.
"you get pretty intense when it comes to Taylor Swift" Celina remarks.
"that's not what I'm talking about" Sadie responds. "but Taylor Swift is a queen, there's no denying that"
"I'm not getting into another argument with you about Taylor Swift" Celina promises. "so what's the problem?"
"I like two people at once, which isn't the weirdest thing in the world. Polyamory isn't rare, but I need to know whether my feelings are simply because I like the idea of dating them or I actually like them" Sadie explains.
"it's too early in the morning for this" Celina decides. "forget I asked."
"always do" Sadie mutters under her breath.
[Time Skip]
"Boot, why are you staring at me?" Tim asks, getting annoyed when he catches Sadie staring at him for the third time.
"just... never mind" Sadie sighs, turning back to look out the windshield.
"good" Tim says, gruffly, not wanting to deal with any drama.
"how did you know that you liked Isabel?" Sadie questions.
Tim gives her a look which makes her shut up.
[Time Skip]
"Seven Adam 19, domestic disturbance call, 4th and Broadway" Dispatch says over the radio.
"Seven Adam 19, show us responding" Sadie replies over the radio while Tim turns on the sirens and starts to drive to the address.
"4th and Broadway, isn't that on a bridge?" Sadie questions as they drive.
Tim smirks. "you memorized the streets of the city?"
"yes, sir" Sadie answers. "I started after the first "Tim Test"
Tim nods once in approval.
A little smile on her face appears when he gives her a sign of approval. She frowns when she realizes she smiled at something so small, her fingers gently touching her lips.
She doesn't have much time to think about it because they arrive at the bridge. There is someone standing on the edge of the bridge, a crowd formed around them.
"get the mattresses" Tim orders as they get out of the shop.
"yes, sir" Sadie says, pulling out the mattresses, and pushing her way through the crowd to join Tim.
"drop 'em" Tim commands before trying to talk to the man about to jump.
Sadie drops the mattresses over the bridge and they hit the dirt path beneath. Sadie is a little confused, because they won't know where the man will jump if he does land.
"Sir, step down, please, I get it, transitioning back from the military is hard but it's not impossible" Sadie hears Tim say.
The man turns back to look at Tim, but one of the many people in the crowd falls and accidentally pushes the man off of the bridge. Tim immediately jumps off of the bridge to, grabbing the man in mid air and managing to direct them so they'll land on the mattresses.
