This place was the last place I wanted to wake up in.

I was still in my own room.

It's to be expected anyways. My arms were covered with bloody bandages and I was still laying on the ground.

Honestly, I was hoping that my family would at least bring me to the hospital, but I guess that's too much to ask for in them.

My arms were burning under the wrapping that wasn't even well done, but I guess I should be thankful they didn't leave me to bleed to death.

Not like I would really mind. But I guess this showed that I still needed to live so they could use me some more.

Guess that's my purpose in life now.

I sigh as I sit up from the ground, a puddle of blood made under me and my clothes blood stained. I sighed even more as I stood up from the ground and realized I had to clean this up because no one else would. Obviously.

I walk over to the door in my room as I took a deep breath in and opened it so I could search for something to wipe the red liquid off.

"Well, well. Look who decided to wake up from her supposed death attempt." The last person I wanted to see was waiting right outside my door, as if she was a predator, waiting to catch her prey. And I somehow ended up in the lion's den.

"Aren't you just tired of always having to live? Well, I just made your life much harder by saving you from death!" She glared at me with a wide smile as if she was so proud of herself for keeping me alive when I wanted to die. "You should thank me for saving you. I did you a favor and let you live some more. Don't go doing that again, I haven't finished using you as my puppet."

She reached her hand out to me as she grabbed my chin and made me look up at her, as she looked down on me with her wide smile and threatening eyes. I had gotten used to this, so it was nothing to me.

She frowned at me once she didn't get a thank you and let go of me as she slightly pushed me backwards.

"How rude of you. I honestly should have let you die. There's no use of you on this earth. Why don't you just disappear forever. No one likes you anyways." She snapped at me as she turned around and left as she left me all alone with my thoughts.

Perhaps it would be better if I disappeared. Maybe I could run away. Run away from this forsaken house and live a better life.

I had decided. I had nothing to lose anyways. I had no objects that were dear to me, so I ran into my room, unbothered to clean up the liquid that was staining the floor and grabbed my backpack as I threw to the ground all the school things I had inside.

I searched all over my room for supplies I needed. I realized that I almost had nothing. So I simply just put my water bottle inside, some money that I had stolen a few times from my parents for this exact reason, and some snacks I had hidden in my room, once again, for this exact reason.

I had planned my escape from this torture of a home, but I never really acted on it because I
never really had any big reasons to leave and I was also just too lazy. But today, my motivation to run away took over me and I was prepared to leave.

I put my backpack on and I placed my phone and a charger in the bag as well as I walked out my room, not even bothered to say goodbye to the only comfort I had in this house.

I walked across my house as when I arrived near the entrance door, my sister walked in as well but didn't bother to look surprised or worried, instead, she had her iconic wide smile and preying eyes on me.

"Running away, are we? Have fun, sister." She glared at me with her smile still plastered on my face as if she knew I wouldn't last long and thought that I would most likely return. Too bad for her, I wasn't planning on ever returning. I hated this house with all my heart, I wouldn't dare to leave and then just come back oh so normally as if I only went on a little trip.
