The car slowly comes to a stop as we arrive in front of a cute restaurant with the name plastered on a sign to show off to those who passed by it. My stomach randomly grumbled as Beidou heard and chuckled lightly as she parked into a parking spot like any normal and smart person would do. Not like those idiots who park in two parking spots making it impossible for someone to park there as well. And yes, this is targeted.
"Get up princess, time to go fill up that empty belly of yours with delicious food." She giggles as she unlocks the doors and gets out the car as she stretches once out.
I awkwardly get out the car and look at the restaurant with stary eyes. I haven't been much at places like these cause of my family, so this was kind of new and exciting. Yes I've been to a cafe with Kazuha, but it didn't compare to a proper restaurant. Now I was getting a bit nervous...
The brown haired woman led me to the front door as we entered said place. Quickly, she was recognized by one of the workers as a hyper girl that looked younger then her headed our way with sparkles in her eyes and a wide smile.
"Beidou!!! Welcome back! I have a table reserved just for you, best place in here of course." The girl giggled as she then eyed me, her eyes glowing ever brighter.
"Beidou!!!! You didn't tell me you had a partner today!!!!!!" She practically yelled out as she was being the loudest out of everyone in here and she didn't bat an eye. Her orange eyes looked naturally big as she seemed like a very energetic and always smiley person. Her short blue hair with two braided strands that hung on the back of her head like a bow complimented her beautiful outfit. She looked super sweet, but that just made me really nervous.
"Didn't really have the time to-" Beidou mumbled to herself as she glared away from us as she left me with the girl staring at me with anticipation.
"Ah yes!! You're tables!! Right this way!!!~" She giggled as she skipped away from me as I let out a sigh of relief. The woman accompanying and treating me followed behind the lady with the eccentric behavior.
We sat at our tables as she walked away from us, leaving us at our seats with a menu in front of us. Beidou focused her attention on me as I looked so confused by what just happened.
"Her name is Xiangling. Her father is the owner of Wanmin, but she is soon to inherit it. She's an amazing cook, apart from the fact that she always adds weird ingredients, her food always tastes good anyways." She chuckles it off as she places her elbows on the table, placing her chin onto the palm of her hands.
"Well, uhm, she seems nice." I sweat drop as I awkwardly smile. Honestly, I could have said anything better, but I guess I'm just stupid like that.
"Yeah, she's pretty strange as a person, but she really only means to make those around her happy with her cooking. Also, a waiter is gonna come soon since I'm treated like a V.I.P. here because of how important I am as a guest to Xiangling. So check out the menu you got and choose anything ya want. I got the money to feed us." She winks at me as I blush and look down to my menu, picking it up and looking at anything that looked appetizing.
"Uh, I think I'll just have what you're having..." I mutter shyly as dark pink eyes look at me and light pink tinted lips smirk at me.
"Nope. You won't. Gotta make your own decisions."
I stare at her blankly as I didn't expect this kind of answer. Usually people in movies and series I've looked at would just accept it, this was definitely not on my list of replies to my statement.
"Oh... Uhm, the dragon beard noodles look pretty good...." I say as I nervously look through the menu as if if I didn't choose a food off the menu in the next 10 seconds the menu would explode in my face and send me flying to Celestia. Something I wasn't too sure I would want to happen to me anytime soon, especially in these next 10 seconds.
