Alone Again

CHAPTER 8

Lydia hurriedly went to the hospital with Amy. They both went to the room where Amy was suppose to be but their eyes widened seeing crowd surrounding the room and smoke coming out. Amy saw her brothers and sisters screaming. Lydia hurriedly went to them and pulled them out of crowd. Amy looked around to see who did that and to her surprise Hannah just left from that room. She ran behind her trying to catch her Hannah had already gone. She back and saw a bracelet lying on the ground. She knew whom this bracelet belonged to. She went back to Lydia and saw her calming everyone down. 

Olivia jumped from her seat seeing Amy. "Oh my god, we thought we lost you. You should have told us before you went outside." Amy hugged knowing how much hard it must have been for them. "I am alright and also I know who started this fire." They all looked at her with serious expression. "Hannah did that, right?" Lydia said while giving her glass of water. "Yeah and I think she isn't the only one who alone did that, there are more. For now we should go." They all went outside the hospital. Evan was about to go to get his car but Amy stopped her. "Take taxi, I am sure they must have meddled with our vehicle." They all nodded.

As soon as everyone entered the house they saw the whole house turned upside down. "What the hell? What is going on?" Amy looked around and then something clicked in her mind. She hurriedly went to her room and searched her whole room but everything was at its place. She went to her workspace (secret room). She saw everyone treating each other. "Andy? What happened?" She said while going to him who was giving everyone water. "Someone broke into house while everyone was outside. Actually two people broke inside." She backed away a little bit. "Where are the evidences?" Andy pointed at the special locker. "They took murder weapon and deleted the footage of that gardener." Andy said while covering his elbow with cotton. "Give everyone one week day off." She left in rage and anger. "We need to stop." She said while gaining everyone's attention. "Why? We are getting close to the truth." Lydia said while coming close to her. "No, we are not going to put our lives on stake just because you guys need to prove me innocent." She shook her head in denial. "First they kept verbally threatening me, then they physically threatened me and today they came to our house. What's next huh? Losing someone? I can't just go on." Michael held her hand and caressed it softly. 

"Amy, it's not about us or you it's about Raymond. How can his soul be in peace knowing someone is threatening his sister? You need to go on and don't worry about us. We ain't gonna die because we believe in you that you won't let anything or anyone hurt us." Everyone hugged her tightly. "Stop hugging." She chuckled while tears were still falling from her eyes. "They deleted the footage of the 'she gardener'." She said while laughing lightly. "It's alright we might somehow retrieve it." Ella said while trying to be optimistic. "Impossible, it can't be recovered as they have deleted it from the database." Everyone nodded lightly, for a second whole room fell silent. "Well at least I know that the 'she gardener' is someone close to us." Everyone looked at her with their eyes wide open. "WHAT?" Eric said too loudly. "I really want some ice cream, should we go out?" She said ignoring the reaction of Eric. "Yeah we can go but before we go can I ask you something?" James asked while raising his eyebrows. "Sure, go ahead." She said without hesitating. 

"Do you... do you still like that mint chocolate chip flavor ice cream?" Amy was too stunned to speak. She thought he would ask something serious but no he wants to know whether she still likes that flavor or not? Olivia smacked his back of head. "We thought you were going to ask something very serious." They all burst out and started laughing crazily. Amy paused for a moment to look at the precious moment in front of her. "I did it, Raymond, see I am again trying to keep this group together like before." She thought and smiled brightly at them. Everyone was too busy to notice pair of eyes staring at them happily. His soul was in relief seeing her being happy after so many years.
