Alone Again

CHAPTER 16

"How can she escape from your station? Amy banged her hand on the table harshly which made everyone flinch. Her eyes were enough to send chills down their spines. "Miss Amy, we have no idea. We were very careful. We had many guards guarding her cell but it's a mystery how she escapes." The head of the Police station said while lowering his eyes not daring to talk to her while maintaining eye contact. "I know how much careful you were that's why one of your guard is dead inside her cell." She said while rolling her eyes in annoyance. "We are trying our best to catch her." The head said in low voice. "Never mind, my dogs are better in their jobs than your officers. I will find her, own my own at any cost." She said and left the station furiously followed by her guards.

After reaching her penthouse she told her men to search for Hazel at any cost whereas everyone was sitting in the living room waiting for her with a worried and serious face.

"Amy, you should see this video." Evan held her hand and made her see the video. This video was sent by hazel. She was threatening Amy. She held Alex as her hostage. Amy could clearly see that she has beaten him brutally. She threw the phone in one corner of the room. "That piece of crap, I won't leave her this time." She dialed Andrews's number. "Andrew, I need you to track the location from where this video was sent. I am giving you four hours, I need to know immediately." She disconnected the call and sat on the couch with a heavy sigh. She putted her head in her hands.

"Why are you so worried about him?" Olivia asked which made Amy look up at her in confusion. "What do you mean by why I am worried? He is mu husband and-" She stopped in the middle of her sentence realizing what she just said.

"Is your husband or was your husband?" Ella asked which made her look away from them. "I mean ... she is dangerous and he is a friend. We need to save him from her." She said while stuttering in between. "Why do you keep lying? Why you keep hiding your feelings?" Eric said while grabbing her shoulder. She removed his hand from her shoulder. "I can't do anything else either. This is the only way that he will be happy." She said while tears were forming inside her eyes. "Did he seem happy to you after your decision and now this?" Olivia said to Amy while looking straight in her eyes.

"Amy, we all have seen him suffer all these years. We don't know whether you know or not, he's the one who wanted to solve Raymond's case after you were gone. He was the one who helped me. He's the one who want you to have a good life." Evan said which made Amy's heart sink deeper into darkness.

"I know that, I know how much he is trying to be better. I know how much he is broken from inside. But I can't do anything else. We aren't meant to be together. Our relation is big mistake." She said while wiping the tears off from her cheeks. "It's only you, who thinks like that. You both are meant to be together. Up and downs come in relations but that doesn't mean we lose hope. Give him a chance and try to restart before it's too late and also you need to bring him back alive." Lydia said while showing her a faint smile.

"Let me call Andrew again." Amy wiped her tears and turned to call Andrew.

Meanwhile...

"Why? Hazel, why are you doing... this?" Alex was tied up to the chair in a dark basement while hazel was sitting opposite of him. She chuckled hearing his statement. "Don't be innocent Alex. You know my purpose. My only purpose is to destroy Amy. What had I done to her? I was living comfortably. Why the hell she needed to step in between my life. She killed my love. She killed Josh and burned him down. I couldn't even get to see him for one last time. Now you got it?" She threw glass jar towards him but fortunately it hit the wall behind him. "Did you never love Raymond?" He knew he was making her blood boil and that was his plan. "We had arranged marriage. He was happy but I wasn't. I only handled him just to get his damn money." Hazel said while pushing her hairs back.
