Alone Again

CHAPTER 5

"Everyone I think we need to talk." Amy said while walking down the stairs. "Aye, you ain't a queen that you are shouting this loud. You need to talk then just say no need to announce this loudly." Evan said while dramatically shaking his ears. "Shut up." Lydia smacked his back of head. "What you wanna tell us? Tell me I am waiting." Amy rolled her eyes at her dramatic behavior. "Well , you guys ask me tell you what exactly happened years ago and I always said no but today I think I can handle telling you guys." Everyone stopped whatever they were doing and they all looked at her shocked. "You really are going to tell us?" Elsa said while clapping her hands in excitement. "Well yeah, that's the plan." Lydia took her hand and made her sit on the couch. "From beginning to ending tell us each and every detail." She nodded lightly. She took a deep breath. "Well Twelve years ago .....[Flashback starts]

We were just seventeen me, Lydia and Hannah were best friends. We were the most popular trio of whole school. My family was hectic one and I never really lived in my own house sometimes at my aunt and sometimes at Lydia's house. Hannah was the oldest but still she was in the same class as mine. Once when I ran away from the house I went to Lydia's house but unfortunately she and her family were going out so I just couldn't stay there and that's when for the first time Hannah invited me to her house to stay. I knew she had a brother but I had never seen him. That day was the first time I had seen Him. Alex was quite shy guy and he never talked properly to me whenever I came to Hannah's house but still I loved meeting him. I have seen his flushed face whenever I came at his home. We were in same class but different schools. But everything changed when we both went to university. 

We went into same university but we didn't know that. He was popular because of his looks and well me I became shy. Lydia was far from our city only Hannah was with me that time. One day when I was in cafeteria I saw him with his friends. I called him but he ignored and after university was over I went with Hannah to her house but Alex wasn't there, he had moved into another house. I missed him being there and that's when I got to know I have something for him. He was the rude dude with bunch of sidekicks and well I was calm, shy. [Pause in Flashback]

"Wait hold up, you are telling us this some kind of Teenage fantasy story?" Evan said while laughing loudly. Amy chuckled lightly. "Way more than just a fantasy." Olivia was sitting there thinking of something. "Isn't it weird that when she was in high school she was popular but in university she was shy and Alex was shy guy in high school but rude dude in university? It's like you both exchanged your personality." She was laughing after so many years. Those truly were great memories for her. "Let me continue. So ... [Resume Flashback]

Once I was looking for a book in the library very quietly that's when he popped in front of me nowhere which made me startled I was about to fall but he saved me fortunately. And that was the first time we made an eye contact. But me being me I twisted his hand and told him "How dare you touch me." I didn't know why I did that but I just did and he literally said sorry for no reason. I still remember what he said. "Man, I never knew that this beautiful girl will someday haunt me like a witch." And I somewhere blushed but it didn't last that long after he called me witch and I twisted his hand even more. I was the one who brought him ice pack after literally doing that. I was just into the book that I forgot that he was staring right at me. And when I looked at him he said "Amy. Are you still mad about me ignoring you that day?" And I was like man what the hell you talking about? But I didn't say that at all. Instead-[pause in Flashback]

"Ugh! Stop it I might puke listening to your teenage fantasy. Can't you just skip forward to the time when he fell in love with you?" Evan said while dramatically making weird faces. Lydia hit him with cushions. "Shut your gutter like mouth and let us listen to her story I can't believe I wasn't there when it all happened." Amy laughed again. "I think I really need to skip some part." "Yeah" everyone said in just perfect sync. [Resume Flashback]
