Laura's POV:

I have no idea what is going on with Ross. He has been acting strange since the whole Sean thing. I can't handle this anymore. I need some time away from him right now.

I have to call him.

Phone Call//

Hey Ross. (L)

Um hi. Whats up? (R)

I need to talk to you. (L)

About? (R)

We need to take a break. I can't handle you lashing out your anger on me and I'm just not in the mood for a boyfriend right now. I'm sorry Rossy. (L)

I'm sorry too but fine if you want to take a break let's take a break. Bye I-I have to go. (R)

I've been crying because I want Ross back but I have to wait because I need a break but I also want to be with him. Ug why is my life so complicated!

I have to get over him. I just have to.

I go outside and head to the mall. I walk around and when I am purchasing something the cashier says, "Are you ok? You seem sad."

"Uh, ya I'm fine. It's just my boyfriend and I are taking a break and I don't know how I feel."

"Well, feel better soon darlin. Here's your stuff."

"Thank you. Bye." I head home and just sit there.

Ross' POV

Laura and I broke up a week ago and I just feel so guilty. It's all my fault. I can't believe one of my best friends betrayed me and kissed my girlfriend. Ugh. I have been yelling at Laura about random things lately.

I have to get her back. But how? I know! I'll pretend to date someone and make her jealous. She'll be back with me in no time.

I go to the beach and there is this really cute girl. She has ombré hair, light to dark, freckles, and blue eyes.

"Hi! I'm Kennedy. Do you want to play volleyball with me and my friends?" She says in her beautiful voice.

"Sure, I'm Ross!"

We spent 5 hours on the beach. First we played volleyball, then we went and got ice-cream, then we went surfing, and then we sat and watched the sunset.

"So is this like a date?" I ask her.

"Ya I guess it is. Look Ross your an awesome guy and I couldn't help but fall in love with you. I totally understand if you don't feel the same way."

"Kennedy I like you too. You're beautiful. I want to be with you." I say clumsily forgetting about Laura.

"So it's official. What's our ship?"

"How about Rennedy? Or Koss?"

"Koss. That's cute. Text you later Rossy." That would be when I remembered Laura. That was my nickname to her. Ugh I'm so stupid I can't do this to her. But I can't hurt Kennedy. Great now I have to do something before things get out of hand.
