Another night passed and I was just as fascinated by my room. I even think the butterflies were joined by fireflies at night, that or my ceiling was supos to mimic a starry sky that lit up when it got dark outside. Today I even managed to get dressed before Louis knocked on my door. Because without knowing it, I opened the door just as he was about to knock and we came face to face with each other.
"Good morning Darling, you know you just have to ask if you want to be close to me right."
I didn't laugh. I actually didn't even dignify him with an answer, instead I went down to the kitchen before him and sat down on the kitchen counter. When he came in, he looked at me with raised eyebrows before turning to face the fridge to start the day's breakfast.
"What do you want to eat, cereal with flower milk or.--."
"Cereals will be fine thanks."
"And what tea would you like?"
"I don't need tea today, I have the milk."
He turned to me and looked almost repulsed, but he set the table and took himself a large cup of tea.

When we were doing the dishes later, he asked me what we were going to do today and I jumped at the chance. "You are to take me to the blue caterpillar."
"Am I?"
"Yes."
Then which caterpillar do you mean?" "The blue one."
"There are lots of blue caterpillars in Wonderland Darling, you have to be specific."
"The blue one you were talking about, the day before yesterday I mean!"
"Ohh thate blue caterpillar! Why didn't you just say so!"
I sighed at him and when we finished washing up, our journey began.

We walked and walked, none of us saying anything. I was too busy taking in the environment, first we had gone through a forest snd the forest had become more of an open space filled with different colored mushrooms, did Louis stopped.
"Drink this before we continue." "What, why?"
"Just do it."
Well if I was to died, might as well be like this. But then I recognized the bottle, it was the same one I drank from when I was going through the door, so I drank and so did Louis. But this time the feeling was different, while I was shrinking I had a tickling feeling in my stomach that wouldn't go away. But it worked just as well, because I was standing in my now gigantic clothes wearing only my petticoat, again, but then I made the huge mistake of looking ower at Louis and he too was only in his underwear. The blush spread over my cheeks and all over my face, only when he held something out towards me did I dare to face him.
"A dress?"
"Yeah, I suspected you wouldn't come prepared. But I don't mind if you want to go dressed like that Darling."
I immediately took the dress.
"No thanks, this works fine."
When I put on the dress and turned to face Louis again, he was also dressed. "But how did you get such small clothes?"
"Dad made them, for just such an occasion."
He said nothing more and just kept walking. I followed but at the same time I couldn't stop staring at the giant mushrooms around us that not so long ago had been so so small.
"How will we know when we're there?"
"Believe me you will know."
That answers didn't help much at all. Only when my face was later hit by smoke did I understand what he meant.
"Who dares approach my mushroom." More smoke.
"I, Louis Hatter, son of the Mad Hatter."
"Pch, and who do you have with you hatter son?"
Louis nudged me a little and I said. "Miss Y/n Amelia Mckensly."
Judging by Louis's face, I would have thought I was to be as formal as possible.
"No girl, who are you?"
I coughed from all the smoke and looked at Louis blankly.
"She is the daughter of Alice."
"Alice?¿ Come closer children."
We followed his word and what I was greeted with was a blue thick butterfly caterpillar lying on a muchrom. The pipe in his hand also proved where the smoke was coming from.
"Daughter of Alice you say."
"Yes..."
"Then my child the prophecy will be fulfilled!"
"Prophetsian?"
Louis froze next to me.
"No you don't understand, I just want to know how to get home!"
"Well my child, you just need to wake up and you will be where you need to be!"
"Huh? I don't understand, please you--!"
"That's enough! According to the prophecy only one of Alice's blood can free us, with her cunning she will once again give Wonderland her freedom and queen! We had hoped for Alice herself, but now you are here. So go now I have said enough. " "But!"
"Go!!"
The caterpillar almost screamed and before Louis practically pulled me away he said.
"Thank you so for your wisdom."
And then he almost ran, only when we were back at our clothes did he stop.
"Eat this."
It was a piece of a cookie and I did as he said. Then I started to grow, and just like when I shrunk, it was only my underwear that changed size with me. We got dressed in silence and then moved on. For a long moment there was silence and it didn't feel like Louis, something was wrong.
"What is it Louis?"
"Nothing."
"Nothing is nothing."
I hardly understood what I said myself, but to him it seemed completely understandable because he answered.
"You could have said you wanted to go home!"
"But I did!"
"But after yesterday, I thought you could help us, save us!"
"I'm just a girl, I can't do all that!" "Then you can go home!!"
"Yes but--."
"You heard what the caterpillar said, just wish for to be home or something, it'll work for sure, because if you don't want to help us, you're not needed here!"
"But!"
"No buts, tomorrow when I wake up I hope you're gone!!"
Then we arrived at his house, he went inside and slammed the door shut in front of me.

After a while I ventured in, he must have calmed down by now. But when I came in I was met by Louis with a cup of tea in his hand on his way up the stairs.
"I'm enjoying my tea in my room. There's a cup for you in the kitchen." "Thanks."
But I don't think he heard. I went and got my cup, then I went into my room. This tea tasted fruity, like any good fruit you can think of at the same time, but even so it wasn't disgusting!

Then it was night and I decided to test Louis' way. He didn't want me here anymore, so I wouldn't be either. I closed my eyes, concentrated on being home, and then, when I opened my eyes again, I was lying on the meadow with my basket, my books, and in my blue dress. As if it had all been a dream.
