Chapter 11

I was walking down the hallway with Heinry and McKenna, they were discussing Heinry choosing from the candidate list for queen and Heinry was whining about he only wanted Navier. "C'mon McKenna, with Rashta's pregnancy its only a matter of time before Heinry is able swoop in and take Navier." Mckenna looked confused as we were walking but before he could ask what I meant we heard an argument happening in the room, "You are not the King's Mother and you are young, if you continue to stay in the palace the new Queen will find it uncomfortable because you will continue acting like a Queen."

"Lady Merlaney!" "It sounds like an argument between Lady Merlaney and Krista."  I think aloud. "Lets end this before it gets messy." I say as I open the doors. "Lady Merlaney and Krista, Don't you both think its not an appropriate time to fight." They both look at me and only Lady Merlaney bows while Krista looks at me with a stony expression. "Lady Merlaney please head to my quarters, I would love to have tea." Merlaney beams slightly and bows, "Yes Lady Y/n." She leaves.

We look at Krista, McKenna was about to go to her and lead her out but I stopped him. "Krista, you know she's right, when he new queen comes you have to leave campsh- campesh- whatever that place is you have to go." I know about her feelings for Heinry, in fact I told Heinry, I'm pretty sure we both know the reason she is refusing say. Krista tries to think of an argument but can't, so she bows and leaves.

"I swear, I know you promised your brother but Heinry, by the time Navier and you are engaged Krista will most likely be 6 feet under." Heinry looks exasperated and Mckenna knows scared because, I'll actually do it.

Y/n is looking at a window thinking of the time she first met Krista.

Y/n is on a couch in a Drawing room. She is drinking tea and munching on some cookies, "My Lady Y/n! Lady Krista is here!" Y/n glances up at the maid and smiles, "If you  could please bring her in here."  after a few minutes Krista walks in the room. "Hello Lady Krista its an absolute pleasure to be meeting you!" However Krista just looks stoic. "I suppose its nice to meet you too." Y/n still smiles and offers her tea, "Would you like some tea Lady Krista? I made it myself so I would Like to see what you think! " Krista looks at it suspiciously, but she drinks it, and then immediately spits it into a napkin. "It's disgusting." Y/n looks shocked, "Oh No! Do you not like mango?" Krista looks annoyed and just gets up to leave. "I'm leaving to see the duchess, if you'll excuse me."  Krista leaves the room. The maid sees Y/n's expression of worry. "Did I do something wrong?"  "Oh Heavens No! Lady Krista might just be a apprehensive about having a sudden sister!"  Y/n looks down thinking, 'what did I do wrong?'

Later on Y/n found out Krista lied. 

She was having tea with Duchess and Krista. "This tea is lovely Mother!" Krista compliments and Y/n just smiles while sipping. "Why thank you dear but Y/n was the one who made it, It's a mongo tea." "Mango, Mother" Y/n corrects. "Thank you, Dear"  Krista looked shocked and angry, "Mother how could you trust this peddler to make tea?!" The Duchess then got angry, "How could you say that to someone who saved my life Krista! Y/n please leave while I speak with Krista." Y/n looks at her bows, "Ok Mother." Y/n then leaves.

Y/n then sighs and thinks to herself, "Why am I cursed to always never get along with my sister." Y/n then turns away and goes to meet with Heinry and McKenna once again, But before that.

🕊️💖{Y/n Pov}💖🕊️

I grab a letter I had written for Navier and jump out the window transforming into Vel. I fly to the Eastern Empire and see Navier looking solemn through the open window, so I decided to fly right in. Navier looks surprised to see me and just greets me with a smile. "Lovely to see you again Vel." I caw and show her the letter on my leg. "Lets see what you have for me today."  

I hope that you are well Navier! I want to know how things are going in the eastern empire! Remember if that poor excuse of a husband that is Soveishu is ever to much to handle, you can always come to the western Kingdom Alright!  

P.S, Your invited to Heinry's soon to be coronation ceremony!

Navier chuckles at this and starts to write a response and ties it to me. "I hope you have a safe trip Vel." I nod in bird excitement and fly out the window. 

'I wonder what else is going to be in store."

{Bonus story}

I was walking in my garden of Orchids after Mother told me to leave and I see the McKenna in the garden with a blonde man right by him, I saw him turning this way but I decided to make it look like I didn't see him and I just kept walking, But then I heard and unfamiliar voice shout, "Excuse Me! are you by chance Y/n?" I turn around and see the blonde man. "Yes. I am and may I ask who you are?" The blonde man looks surprised but responds with, "I'm Prince Heinry, Pleasure to meet you Y/n Zemensia." I bow to him and greet him, "As to you Prince Heinry."  "Huh your different then what McKenna described, your not as carefree or laidback."  I just look up at him, "It would be inappropriate for me to speak so casually to a prince especially since I haven't been made officially a noble yet." Heinry was surprised but Just smiled. "It's fine a friend of McKenna's is someone I should get acquainted with considering how moody he is, I was surprised how much he talked about you." McKenna was keeping quiet but now he was blushing in embarrassment and shuts Heinry up. "Anyways lets try to be friends too! so from now on just address me casually, as If status didn't matter!" I was surprised but smiled and said, "Sure then.... Heinry!" we both laugh while McKenna face palms.

I chuckle as I reminisce the day I met my Best Friends. "It was 6 years ago but, we're all already so close as friends." Jade listens to this and delivers the message to Heinry and Mckenna.

"You were friend zoned sorry McKenna." Jade says trying to keep in her laughter, while Heinry busts out laughing. "I'm going to sleep." Mckenna says before going to leave, "Just don't join Y/n in bed again.~" Heinry teases but McKenna smacks him on the head yelling, "SHUT UP!!!" Embarrassed before leaving the room.
