"I see you have already eaten, Noah?" Deity asks, the smell of the food still slightly lingering in the air. "And for you Selene, your food should be ready right in due ti-!"
¡BEEP!
Before Digital could even finish, the wall near selene's bed caves in, making a small rectangular hole. And in that hole is a plate of food for her. A nice platter of fried shrimp, a burger, and fries. Selene smiles as she sees this, and rushes over to the hole as she swipes the plate out of it, now feeling ecstatic.
"H-holy, its-!"
"Your favorite food?" Noah suddenly says,
cutting her off."Um, y-yeah. It is. How'd you...?"
"Nevermind that, Selene. Now, Mr. Deity." Noah continues, turning his attention to Mr deity. "How did these random holes in the walls guess our favorite foods??"
"Ohh, right. I forgot that I owe you both a lot of answers..."
Digital turns his back to them, his hand on his chin. But he then turns back to them, and smiles before slowly walking out the door. "Follow, you two."Surprised by the sudden order, Noah gets up, and looks at Selene. "Uhh, how about you just eat while we walk?"
Selene nods to this, and they both exit the room, and are met with an odd, but polarizing sight.
They now find themselves in a long, tall hallway, with the ceiling being about twenty feet high, but the walls only about eight feet wide, leaving very little space. All the walls and ceilings are painted in the same grey as their room, but the walls have these glowing green, jagged lines, which run throughout the long hallway. Noah turns around to close the door behind them, and sees that the door is colored in their favorite colors, done in a halfway split. Both sides were glowing, but they slowly lost the glow, now a solid matte, a reaction to us leaving the room.
And as Noah looks to his left, there's another room. And to his right, another door. Selene doesn't pay attention to that, and continues to walk with Digital Deity. But Noah wonders if this means there's more people here, in the exact same predicament as him! He also notices that they don't have colors on them like his and selene's. But he brushes it off, and speed walks to catch up with Digital and Selene.
He walks with them, and taps Digital on his side.
"Alright, now we're ready. So tell us, what's going on?" Noah asks, his curiosity now at an overflowing peak.
"Okay, okay. I'll explain." Digital says as he puts his arms in front of him, and begins to acknowledge the two on the current situation.
"Now, you two were summoned to my world, which at the moment, is in a very disturbing crisis."
"Disturbing?" Selene questions, her words slightly muffled by the food in her mouth.
"Yes. Disturbing. Now, this problem has been going on for more than a decade now, specifically about fifteen years. So, you are both like a last ditch effort, as I have tried everything to help this world. And I cannot say that they have been successful."
"W-What're you expecting us to do if ten years of work hasn't done anything?" Noah asks, focusing his attention on Digital.
"Well..." Digital looks down, his glowing blue eyes dimming as he sighs. "I am embarrassed to even say this, but with the predicament that is at hand, those ten years were spent building up the energy to summon you both."
Noah and Selene's eyes widen, glancing at each other in shock. This revelation itself has put some invisible pressure on both of their shoulders almost immediately.
"Hold on..." Selene says, now looking at Digital with a shocked expression painted on her face. "How could you be so weak? You look like a god! You have data running through your veins, blue glowing eyes, and you're like, ten feet tall!"
Digital looks at Selene as she exclaims, his eyes glowing brighter, and smiles.
"My strength has worn away, Not my figure."
