Chapter 2 : First contract

Karma takes the contract from the pile from those who maintain the world's natural order , such as the circulation of souls , to ensure no souls a workforce resource would be lost and die .

' A natural order management company related to death that watches over the souls and gets the process to the world like how a baby is recorded with a birth certificate . But instead , the certificate is more like a compiled resume using the life flashes before your eyes as a reliable source '

"Some of these souls weren't accepted in heaven or hell" ' That's not an offer I want but what is the cause ? ' "Abortion is the main cause of the souls that were unwanted or not suited to work in either heaven or hell"

" Hold the phone what ? " "The young souls were too lacking in experience so they couldn't work and several families already had children so finding someone to take care of them is hard" " Harsh "

He looks at a special offer asking if Karma could house the souls who didn't have enough name to them or enough experience and skills to support themselves " I did own an orphanage and it even says that as long as it's secluded it's fine "

He drinks some coffee not feeling interested in creating an orphanage as he looks at the promise keeper and smiles at the thought he just made ' Oh that will work ' " Hey Gale I have an Idea " " What idea ? "

" It's about the promise keepers I have a plan of making an orphanage we can use the children I'm going to bring in as a base for bringing back the promise keepers all you have to do is do some storytelling about the tales of promise keepers and make the children believe in them "

Gale pauses as the leaves dances frantically " That's a great idea I can tell stories to them and they'll believe and acknowledge our existence and ourselves , quick let's get this started " " I'm already on it "

Karma calls the person in charge of the matter named Grim " What you agree ? " ' I was just hoping it would work but it did ? ' " Yes I do but I don't want Merit I want a device with mobile data that allows me access to the wide network I believe you can get me that ? "

' I guess this much is expected of the Count's bloodline ' " How about just a device without the data you can buy it yourself anyways " ' I don't have an account to access my merit though better push it '

" No , I won't accept that so how about this I will take care of any unwanted souls that the death department can't house anymore but I want mobile data every time you send me more souls "

" Hmmm fine but how much mobile data should we give you per soul " " Doesn't matter as long as you supply me with plenty of mobile data consumption for 24/7 usage " " Deal " " I'll meet you with the rest of the souls then "

Karma grabs the contract intending to carry them in a portfolio and other things to take to the villa tossing them to the car as he gets in to head to the villa as Gale excitedly joins in " No you stay out I'm only keeping Truth with me " 

" Fine " Gale floats around as Karma thinks about what he might gain when he finds out that the collection of precious artifacts from the Count's mansion may be more authentic than he thinks and sends an order to have them delivered to him .

' First off the Solomon's ring was used to subdue several demons , I never was able to see if it was authentic but with the new network I'm going to access ' he smirked as he recalled other artifacts that could contain power .

' I had no demons to test it out but there might be witches maybe I can find out more about what the Solomon ring could do maybe even learn some magic that was already in the hands of the Count's lineage but not accessible due to disinterest '
