Chapter 4

I still stood there, staring at Taehyung, and he was still on his bed, one hand holding the remote control and the other holding a bowl of popcorns, staring at me back.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" We both said at the same time, and I folded my arms.

"I asked first, you tell me," I said.
"No, you answer me first," Taehyung replied.

"Aish, you!" I secretly cussed under my breath. I walked towards him and snatched the bowl of popcorn as I plopped on the bed, beside him.

"Yah, I didn't say you can sit on my bed," Taehyung said, "Neither did I say you can snatch my bowl of popcorns."

He tried to take the bowl back but I held onto it tightly and began munching on the popcorns.

"You don't know how much I've suffered waiting hours for my flight but all I got was announcements saying 'flight is delayed, flight is delayed'!" I cried out and and stuffed my mouth with popcorns out of anger.

"Chill, give my popcorns back," Taehyung said.

"Nooo...!" I whined, still frustrated.

"Yah! I said give it back before I punch you," Taehyung warned me. I rolled my eyes and gave it back.

I sighed, then I shot a glare at him, "Then why are you here huh? Where's your kawaii girls?"

"Well I'm..." He gulped, "I just didn't wanna go for no apparent reason."

"Yeah, right," I raised an eyebrow, still waiting for him to explain.

"Ugh, fine, I'm a little afraid to travel alone okay. What if I get lost or kidnapped. I'll be in trouble..." Taehyung said, serious.

I looked at him before I burst into laughter, "Yah, aren't you the one who mocked me about being afraid to get lost? Then earlier you just left the airport like that?"

"Yeah, I was home after we separated ways," he said again.

I bit my lip, "So I guess we just, lied to each other and caught ourselves."

"Yeah," he slightly chuckled, "Hey, since we've got a week of holiday, then why not we just go on a trip together. It doesn't have to be far, just someone around Korea."

I thought for awhile, "Sounds good. But where?"

"I know we're gonna have a hard time choosing where to go, but since we've got 6 days left, we can take turns to choose where to go," Taehyung suggested.

"Alright then you go first," I said.

"Okay, then let's go on a camping trip tomorrow," He made the decision and I nodded.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"Well, I'll watch the television while you go down to the kitchen and make me more popcorns," He said.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed a handful of popcorns from the bowl before throwing them in his face. "You wish, I'm gonna wash up and go to sleep, bye," I said and rushed out of the room.

The next day, it was in the afternoon and I was grabbing stuffs from the store room that's suitable for the camping trip.

"Remember to bring the tent along!" Taehyung shouted from the living room.

Minutes later, I came out ready with everything packed. "Let's go," I said and we both headed out of the house.

We went on a trip to Jejudo beach and finally reached after a long journey there.

I settled down everything while Taehyung went to set up the tent near the campsite.

After that, we started grilling some meat and we ate them quickly right after it was grilled well.

Then, I sat under a shady tree and played my phone before Taehyung came over to snatch it away from me.

"Yah! Give it back," I tried to take my phone back from him but he wouldn't let me.

"This is a camping trip, you're not supposed to be using your phone," Taehyung said to me as he kept my phone in his pocket. I groaned and looked away.

But anyways, we did start a conversation and began chatting for a bit.

"Yah, wanna go see the sunset?" He asked me when it was getting darker and I nodded.

We both climbed up and sat on the big rocks by the sea shore. "Do you like watching the sunset?" I asked Taehyung.

"I rarely do," he answered, "I just happen to feel like watching the sunset with you."

I smiled and stared at the sun as it made its way to meeting the horizon. We watched in awe as the sun sets and soon, the sky became darker. I sighed, having a deep thought quietly to myself as the cold breeze gently ran through my hair.

"Why are you so quiet?" Taehyung asked me and I shook my head. "You wanna tell me something?" He asked another question.

"Tch, anni, I'm fine," I said and weakly smiled.

"Is it burdensome," He paused and looked at me, "pretending to be someone's wife?"

I looked back at him and gulped. "W-What?"

He looked away and sighed. "I've troubled you so much. Sorry, Hyejin. Six months will be enough, then you don't have to pretend infront of my parents, or anyone, anymore."

"Yah, it's weird hearing you apologise to me," I slightly chuckled to lighten up the mood, "It's okay. I'm here to help as much as I can."

He smiled at me then he stood up, "Yah, let's go play with the water."

Taehyung got down from the rock and then helped me down as well. We both ran towards the seashore and started splashing water at each other. The small waves crashed on our feet and in less than a minute, both of us were drenched from head to toe.

I was playing with the water when suddenly a big wave was coming for us. It hit me and I stumbled to keep my balance but failed. I was about to fall into the water before Taehyung grabbed me by the arm and pulled me towards him.

I looked up at him and I suddenly got blank. My body was literally sticking close to him because he was still holding onto me, and we just stood like that, staring at each other awkwardly.

Suddenly, another big wave came crashing to our knee level and we were both sent down into the water.

I freaked out a little bit because the seawater stung my eye and I quickly stood up, continuously coughing.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked as he tried to pull me away from the water, "We shouldn't have played in the water since its dark already."

"You were the one who suggested it," I raised my eyebrow and he chuckled.

"Yah go wash up and return back to the tent. See you later," Taehyung said. I nodded and we both separated ways.

After I changed into a new tshirt and a pair of shorts, I went back to the campsite and walked towards our tent. Taehyung was already in the tent, playing his phone.

It's sleeping time and I just realised that we only had one tent, that small, cramped tent that Taehyung's already sitting in.

"Taehyung?"
"Hmm?"
"There's only one tent..." I said awkwardly.

He looked at me, "So?"
"We have to share?" I asked.
"Well, yeah, I guess," he said as he made a space for me in the tent, "You can sleep here," he said and patted the spot next to him.

I gulped. I slowly went and sat down in the tent. The space was really small. We both lay down, backs facing each other and I can feel the awkward atmosphere between us.

"Are you asleep already?" He suddenly asked me.

I didn't reply to him and kept quiet, pretending that I was asleep. Suddenly, he pulled the blanket over and covered me. My eyes were tightly shut and I tried my best to not make a sound.

He sighed. "I'm..." I heard him spoke, "I'm not falling for you all over again right?"
