"Jung Soohyun?" Taehyung called her back and I just stood there, awkwardly staring at the both of them.

She smirked, "Ahh... Taehyung ah, your parents told me you guys are on your honeymoon in Tokyo. What are you doing here in the supermarket?"

Taehyung glared at her, "To go for grocery shopping, duh."

Soohyun slightly smiled, then she scrutinised me from head to toe, before she came closer towards me and I got uneasy.

"Annyeong," She greeted me, "I'm Jung Soohyun."

"I know," I replied, "I'm Lee Hyejin. Nice to meet you."

"Congratulations on your marriage," she said and put out her hand for me to shake.

Yeah, right. I'm sure she's secretly cursing me in her heart for being Taehyung's wife.

I was about to shake her hand before Taehyung smacked my hand away and then he clasped my hand tightly in his.

"We have to go now," he said, pushing the shopping cart and dragging me along.

We went to the cashier to pay for the groceries, when suddenly I got really curious about Jung Soohyun.

"What's with you and Soohyun?" I asked Taehyung.

He sighed, "I told you my parents almost arranged my marriage with her. She's dangerous, alright. She probably would bribe people to hurt you, so stay away from her."

I suddenly got worried hearing him say that, "Then what am I supposed to do if she's gonna hurt me?"

He chuckled, "I'll protect you."

I got flattered and looked away shyly.

After paying for the groceries, we went home and it was already evening. We settled the stuffs in the kitchen.

I went up to my own room and threw myself on the bed, snuggling comfortably with blanket before I heard a deafening shout from outside my room.

"HYEJJIINNN!!" Taehyung shouted and barged into my room.

I groaned, "Whaaat."

"Come have dinner with me," he said and tried to drag me out of bed.

"I'm not hungry," I replied and tried to free my hand from his grip.

"Nope you're coming with me to the kitchen," he said. He succeeded pulling me out of bed, then he dragged me all the way down to the kitchen.

I sighed, "Are you making me cook? If yes I'm just gonna make omelettes."

"No I'm not, we're eating cereals," he said as he took out the box of cereal and the carton of milk we bought earlier.

"Cereal for dinner?" I raised my eyebrow, "You're weird."

"Shut up and eat," he gave me the bowl of cereal and we both sat in the living room.

"Where are we going tomorrow?" I asked, "It's your turn to choose."

"Theme park," he said and scooped a spoonful of cereal.

"No! I'm bad at rides," I said.

"It'll be fun, I'm sure," he said, putting his empty bowl infront of me, "You go wash the bowls."

"Yah! Kim Taehyung!" I shouted at him but he quickly ran up to his room, not even turning back to look at me.

"Idiot," I muttered under my breath but still had to wash the bowls.

I went back up to my room but before I entered, I smelled something unpleasant from Taehyung's room - smoke.

I furrowed my eyebrows and quickly rushed into his room, and I was right, he was smoking.

"Kim Taehyung!" I shouted and he stared at me.

"Yah, you scared me," he said, still puffing out smoke out of his mouth whilst sitting comfortably on his bed.

I stomped towards him, "I told you not to smoke!"

"When did you tell me not to?" He asked and raised and eyebrow.

"High school?" I said.

He chuckled, "That was so long time ago. Yah, I was young alright, but now I've grown into an adult so I can do whatever I want."

Fumed with anger, I snatched the cigarette from him and threw it on the floor. The dumb thing I did was to put out the fire by stubbing it with my bare foot.

Bearing the burn on my foot, I looked at him, "I'm staying in the same house as you and I can't stand the smell of smoke. Besides, you made a promise not to smoke."

"Stop living in your high school days and grow up. It's just smoking, why are you so paranoid?!" He argued.

I sighed, and slowly took steps away from him before walking to my room and slamming the door shut behind me.

I sat on my bed and looked at the burnt skin on my foot. "Shit," I cussed and didn't know what to do with it.

I thought Taehyung had stopped smoking since I told him not to in high school. Things must've changed, because on the last year in high school, Taehyung and I weren't that close anymore. I stopped going up to the store room hideout to see him, and he must've spent his break, picking up his old habit to smoke.

Suddenly, the door to my room opened. "Yah, idiot," Taehyung called me and walked towards me. I looked away and put my feet on my bed, covering the burnt foot under my blanket.

Taehyung sat at the edge of my bed, "Let me see your foot."

"What for?" I asked still not looking at him.

"For me to cut, cook it and feed it to people," he said and I glared at him.

"I know you burnt your foot. Show it to me."

"My foot's perfectly fine, just get out," I said and attempted to push him off my bed, but he resisted and pulled my covers away.

He grabbed my leg and stopped me from fidgeting. There was no way of stopping him anymore, and I just let him look at the burnt skin on my foot.

"Idiot, why would you step on a lit up cigarette like that," he said, "Come with me."

He made me stand on one foot then he grabbed my arm, putting it around his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my waist to support me, then he slowly brought me to the bathroom.

I sat on the loo seat while Taehyung knelt infront of me. "Foot," he said and I slowly brought my foot up. He gently cleaned the skin and then he bandaged my foot.

"Becareful next time, pabo yah," he said to me.

"Yeah, just as long you're not gonna smoke anymore," I said.

"Fine, fine," he stuck out his pinky finger, "Pinky promise."

I slightly smiled and locked my pinky finger with his.

I tried to stand up and then he helped me as I made my way to my bed. I sat down comfortably on my bed then Taehyung pulled the covers over me. "We'll go to the theme park some other day," he said.

"But you said you wanted to go to the theme park."
"Yeah, but not with you and your burnt foot," he said.

I smiled sheepishly, "So where are we going?"

"Where do you think you can go with your burnt foot? Just stay home, pabo yah," he said.

"Fine. Thanks," I said and smiled at him.

Suddenly, Taehyung received a call on his phone. He picked it up and answered, "Yobuseyo?"

I looked at him, and his eyes suddenly widened. Taehyung gulped, "Dad?"
