Author's pov:-

Maria's voice drifted upstairs, "Dear, your books have arrived."

Aria, engrossed in organizing her closet, replied, "Okay."

She finished arranging her essentials, mindful that this wasn't a permanent residence. However, her books were non-negotiable.

With a sense of satisfaction, she descended to the foyer, where the delivery awaited.

The boys had carefully transported her precious cargo – a box overflowing with books.

Aria smiled, acknowledging the weight wasn't an issue; she was no fragile damsel.

"I've got this," she murmured, trying, lifting the box.

Maria watched, amused by Aria's independence.

"Need help, miss?”

Aria shook her head. "No, thanks. I'm good."

"Good thing I didn't bring the whole library," Aria muttered to herself, straining under the box's weight.

She decided to tackle it in increments, carrying five books at a time. Lost in her thoughts, she continued her solo conversation.

That's when she saw him – a fine-looking specimen descending the stairs with effortless elegance.

Her heart skipped a beat, and her feet tangled. Again.

Resigned to her fate, Aria watched as her precious books scattered across the floor.

"God," she whispered, dismayed.

But then, a pair of strong, tan hands appeared, carefully gathering the books.

He dusted each one off, his fingers tracing the spines with gentle care.

As he held out the rescued books, their eyes met. Aria's cheeks flushed, her pulse racing.

Their fingers touched, sending a spark through her.

A soft smile hinted at amusement in his eyes. Their gazes lingered, the air thick with unspoken connection.

Aria's heart still skipped beats, but now, for a different reason entirely.

"Th-thanks," Aria stuttered, her cheeks ablaze.

Snapping out of her daze, she clutched the books tightly to her chest, ensuring they wouldn't fall again.

His chiseled features left her breathless, and she couldn't bear to meet his gaze.

Without waiting for a response, Aria fled, her feet carrying her away swiftly.

"Be careful..." he called after her, his voice tinged with amusement.

As she vanished from sight, he sighed, a gentle smile spreading across his face.

He couldn't believe his own feelings. If anyone had told him he'd fall deeply for a fiery, whimsical girl like Aria, he'd have laughed.
