22. ease the stress

"mommy! wake up" ella jumped on top of me, shaking me awake.

i slowly open my eyes and look over at the clock 5:43 "why are you up so early?" i groaned as i brought my attention back to ariella. "i had a bad dream." she sighed and cuddled up beside me. "mommy has you baby, go back to sleep." i whispered and she nodded and closed her eyes, drifting back to sleep.

when we both woke up, we went downstairs and ariella went to play with theo who was playing with his dinosaurs.

"coffee?" claud asked as she poured herself a cup. "please" i ran my fingers through my hair.

"here babe" she chuckled, handing me the cup she had poured for herself. i waited for her then we went to sit on the couch. the kids sat on the ground and played, giggles surrounding the room.

the day went by so damn slow; it was definitely because i was staring at the clock waiting until billie got back to her hotel room which still isn't for 3 hours. yay!

it was around 9:30 the kids had just finished dinner and were watching a movie in the living room while claud and i cleaned up the dinner mess. 

"ella, sit down!" theo yelled and i turned my head to see ella climbing up the tv stand. "now what in the ever loving fuck is wrong with you?!" i screamed as i put down the rag and rushed over to grab her. "get the fuck down." i grabbed her arms and placed her on the ground. "pjs and bed now." i said through my teeth and she crossed her arms then plopped her ass down on the floor. 

"ariella eilish, dont play with me right now." i warned and she rolled her eyes. 

this little brat.

"you have three seconds. one... two..." she stood up before i got to three and stormed up the stairs. "i hate you! i want mama!" she cried before slamming her door shut.

"give her a few minutes." claud told me as she placed her hands on my shoulders. "shes missing billie just as much as you are." she reminded me and i nodded while exhaling a deep breath.

once we finished cleaning claud took theo to bed and i grabbed myself a glass of wine before going to check on ella. when i went into her room she was sound asleep so i tucked her in and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving and shutting off the light.

i went to my room and got myself comfortable in bed so i could watch a movie to allow time to pass until billie called. i was absolutely losing my mind without her.

before i knew it i had already had two and a half glasses of wine when billie called.

"hi my love" she smiled as she placed the phone up on the sink. 

"hi! i missed you" i smiled, propping my phone up on a pillow so she could see me.

"how has your night been?" she asked while pulling her hair out of pigtails. 

"long" i chuckled as i took a sip of the wine. 

"how much have you had?" she raised an eyebrow. "two and a half glasses." i chuckled.

"alright thats enough put it down." her eyes widened. "what happened? why are you stress drinking?" she knows me too well.

"well ella was climbing up the tv stand after dinner, she got really high up and i yelled at her and pulled her down. i told her to go upstairs and get ready for bed and her ass sat on the ground and crossed her arms like a little arrogant shit. i counted to three and she ran up the steps screamed that she hated me and that she wanted you and then slammed her door." i said, then took another sip of my wine.
