This isn't directly connected to the media, but the words just reminded me of what I was thinking a few days ago.
Can you imagine, though? All the books we love now, being classics in the future where like 5 percent of future kids and teens want to read them? And us being just these ancient grandparents trying to convince our grandkids to read 'old fashioned, boring books'? What a depressing prospect.
I'll still find a way to get them to read them, though. I will never give up.
